The Island Dining Room located on deck 5 (plaza) is one of Caribbean Princess' three main dining rooms and offers guests anytime dining allowing them the flexibility to select a dining time to suit each day, seated either with other guests or at a table for two (dependent upon availability).

All three main dining rooms tend to offer the same four course dinner menu with set choices on one side of the menu and nightly changing themed selections on the other side. The option of an 'always avaiable menu' is also provided including steaks, chicken breast and salmon.

Examples of evening meals include poached seafood and avocardo, vegetarian spring rolls or blue crab cake quiche for starters, grilled vegetables on lettuce salad or tortellini and spinach soup, New York strip with peppercorn sauce, lobster or spaghetti carbonara for mains and pistachio ice cream, chocolate cake or fresh fruits for dessert.

Vegetarian options such as aubergine lasagne and fettuccine alfredo are also available along with Lotus Spa healthy options.

It is open from 5.30pm to 10pm for dinner only.

The Coral Dining Room on the Fiesta deck (6) is open for breakfast, served between 7.00am and 9.00am, Lunch from 12 to 1.30pm. afternoon tea from 3.30 to 4.30 and Princess' Early seating option of 5.30pm to 8pm and Anytime Seating Option from 8pm to 10pm for Dinner.

Breakfast options range from cereals, bagels with smoked salmon and cream cheese, eggs cooked in a variety of ways, fresh fruit, pancakes, muffins and pastries, cold meats and two specials each morning such as alaska scrambler or eggs florentine.

Examples of lunch choices include chefs salad, hamburgers and chicken burgers, tortilla soup, roast beef sandwiches and fried catfish.

Afternoon tea offers finger sandwiches, pastries, scones and cookies served with white-glove service accompanied by a wide selection of premium teas or coffee and music for entertainment.

Sabatini's Italian restaurant, located on deck 7 (Promenade deck), offers fine dining with a view. It is one of the ship's two additional charge select restaurants with reservations recommended.

Open from 6 pm to 11 pm, Sabatini's offers speciality Italian cuisine and premium seafood on an a la carte menu. The three course menu begins with Antipasti consisting of hot and cold appetizers, soups and salads, followed by a pasta course featuring the chef's nightly speciality, and then the Secondi Piatti (main courses) offering meat, seafood and chicken options.

This poolside dining eatery serves freshly cooked hamburgers and vegeterian burgers, chicken sandwiches, hotdogs, fries and bratwurst.

Horizon Court is the ship's casual eatery located on deck 15, with its own terrace for outside dining.

It opens between 5.00am and 11.30am for breakfast, 11.30 to 3.30pm for a buffet style lunch and from 5.30pm to 11pm for dinner with a bistro style menu available from 11pm to 4am serving light snacks.

Breakfast options range from scrambled eggs, omlets, sausages, bacon, pastries, fruit, cerals and pancakes to yogurts and cold meats.

Lunchtime fare includes sandwiches, salads and baked potatoes whilst dinner offers a carvery and changing themed buffet.

Cafe Caribe, aft of deck 15 (lido deck at the far end of Horizon Court), is a buffet cafe offering a rotating selection of island cuisine.

This changing menu of Caribbean themes includes items such as grilled rock labster, paella-style prawns, jerk chicken, curries and whole roast suckling pig.

Opening times are the same as Horizon Court (5.30am to 11.30am for breakfast, 11.30 to 3.30pm for lunch, 5.30pm to 11pm for dinner and 11pm to 4am as a bistro).

Crown Grill, located forward on deck 6 (Fiesta deck), is the ship's other additional charge restaurant with reservations recommended. Open for dinner only serving the Crown Grill menu, between 6pm and 11pm, Crown Grill features premium beef and seafood items along with appetizers and special desserts.

Examples of food on offer include black tiger prawns or seared pacific scallops for appetizers, black and blue onion soup or marinated goat's cheese and tomato salad, chilean sea bass, pan roasted barramundi, New Zealand lamb rack and rib eye steak for mains and molten chocolate cake or lemon meringue pudding tart for dessert.

Some items may be subject to additional charge for example the option of either a whole maine lobster or Brazilian Lobster tail costs an additional $9.


Crown Grill is also open for a few days throughout a cruise serving a complimentary English Pub Style Lunch with English beers and favourites such as fish and chips, bangers and mash and ploughmans lunch.

Open 24 hours a day, the International Cafe can be found on the plaza deck (5) of the ship.

Conveniently located in The Piazza area, which hosts a variety of entertainment during the day and evening, the cafe serves an ever changing selection of quick bites and light meal choices.

In the morning freshly baked croissants and Danish pastries are available with paninis, quiches and salads on offer in the afternoon and evenings.

Throughout the day freshly baked cookies are served along with specialty coffees and teas.

Drinks attract a nominal charge as do some of the food items which are individually priced. A cafe selects coffee card is available for $29 for 15 espresso-based speciality coffees.

For passengers wishing to enjoy a romantic dining experience with breathtaking views from their own balcony, this special room service option is avaiable for either breakfast (at $32 per couple) or dinner ($50 per person).

Breakfast includes speciality pastires, fresh fruits, quiche, smoked salmon and other special treats served with half a bottle of champages.

For dinner, personal dedicated waitstaff serve a special dining experience on guests stateroom balconys.

Dinner begins with a hosted cocktail party with fresh flowers and champagne followed by a deluxe four-course meal of appetisers, salad, main course such as lobster tail or juicy steak, rounded off by dessert.

The Chef's Table experience provides the chance to tour the ship's busy galley during dinner service, where the ship's executive chef previews the evenings menu with a selection of hors d'oeuvres and champagne for guests to enjoy.

Guests are then taken to a private table in the main dining room to enjoy a specially created multi-course menu accompanied by selected wines to complement each course.

During the dessert course the chef rejoins the table to discuss the evenings menu and share their culinary knowledge.

Avaiable for up to 10 passengers per night (which may include mixed groups), the experience can be booked either through the ships DINE telephone line or at the dining reservations table set up on the first night of the cruise.

The experience costs $95 per person and includes a complimentary copy of Princess' cookery book and photo taken at the private table with the chef.

Menus tend to be formed around regional specialities from a recent port visited and an example of one such menu includes (amongst other dishes):-

~ Asparagus rissotto with lobster tail

~ Trio of beef, veal and pork tenderloin
