Introduction
Thomson is the UK arm of the TUI travel group. Their small fleet of ships are chartered rather than owned outright, however this is not obvious when taking a Thomson cruise.
Don't expect anything too luxurious onboard a Thomson ship - it's one step up from the Island Escape. Expect mass produced canteen style food and holiday reps entertainment along with a local pub sort of atmosphere.
The Thomson Majesty & Thomson Sprit are operated by Louis Cruise Lines, however this makes little difference to the passenger experience.
Passengers may not bring alcohol onboard the ship. Any alcohol brought to the ship will be stored until the end of the cruise.
