Mystery Island (officially Inyeug) is the most southerly island in Vanuatu, an island nation located in the South Pacific Ocean.
This tiny 1.5 square kilometre dot, has no electricity, running water, roads, telephones or permanent inhabitants.
It was also formerly used as an allied forces landing strip during WWII.
Swimming, coral reef snorkelling, beachcombing and relaxing are the order of the day here. Nearby locals visit on cruise ship days, offering fresh fruit, shells and souvenirs.
