About Killybegs
Killybegs is a town in County Donegal, Ireland. It is located on the south coast of the county, north of Donegal Bay, near Donegal Town.
Donegal Castle stands by the banks of the river Eske and was built in 1474.
The Heritage Centre is situated within what was once the famous Killybegs Carpet Factory, home to
the largest hand-knotted loom in the world.
