Inhambane

Inhambane (pronounced In-yam-baan) is the capital of the Inhambane Province, located in southern Mozambique, in southeast Africa.

Take a Dhow Safari day trip to Magaruque, one of the small islands in the Bazaruto archipelago where you can relax on the beautiful beach. There is also a chance to do some snorkelling en-route.

The town has shops and markets selling fresh produce, spices and crafts. Try the popular fresh Pau (large Portuguese rolls) in a local bakery.
