Getaway Theatre
Norwegian Getaway’s Theatre, situated forward of decks 6 and 7 and served by its own bar, offers two Broadway shows, “Legally Blond” and Burn the Floor.
Legally Blond is the seven-time Tony Award-nominated musical which tells the story of sorority girl Elle Woods who after being dumped by her boyfriend follows him to Harvard Law School to win him back where with some help from new-found friends Paulette, Emmett and her chihuahua Bruiser, she learns that it’s so much better to be smart.
Burn the Floor (offering shows both in the Getaway Theatre and the more intimate performances in the Tropicana Room) mixes traditional ballroom dances with high energy and excitement with dances including The Waltz, Cha Cha, Samba, Salsa, Rumba, Foxtrot, Mambo and Paso Doble accompanied by eclectic music from Swing and Waltz to J-Lo and Credence Clearwater. Two vocalists also perform in multiple languages during the show from English to Spanish and Portuguese.

The Grammy Experience (Show Lounge)
The GRAMMY Experience, forward of deck 8, features artefacts chosen and curated by the GRAMMY Museum® at L.A. LIVE in downtown Los Angeles such as original costumes worn by The Jackson Five. In the evenings, the venue plays host to live performances by past GRAMMY winners and nominees, among others.
Getaway’s inaugural cruise features Latin Grammy award-winning jazz flutist, Nestor Torres, whose music career includes 14 albums, one Grammy nomination, four Latin Grammy nominations and one Latin Grammy win in 2001 for his album “This Side of Paradise”.

Illusionarium (Show Lounge)
The all new Illusionarium (replacing the Spiegel Tent on Norwegian Breakaway) is located on deck 6, where guests are treated to a remarkable entertainment and dining experience. Transported to a fantasy world, guests will meet a cast of interesting characters and witness world-class magicians, illusionists and mentalists.
As diners enter the portal of The Illusionarium they are surrounded by antique spell books, magical interactive artefacts and relics with the centre piece being a 30’ diameter video dome on which visuals are projected to create a mystical and magical environment.

Headliners Comedy Club (Show Lounge)
Headliners, midship on deck 6, is home to Levity Entertainment Group and Howl At The Moon with the room designed to reflect a show lounge format with a small raised stage, dark wooden chairs and tables and brick walls along with a full bar allowing guests to enjoy a drink whilst they catch a show.
Levity Entertainment, the largest producer of live comedy and employing over 300 artists nationwide airs 12 comedy shows per week whilst Howl At The Moon features talented piano players providing a rock n’ roll duelling piano show with interaction from the audience.

Bliss Ultra Lounge (Night Club)
The Bliss Ultra Lounge is a popular hotspot for guests designed to resemble trendy New York Clubs and entered through an LED-lit tunnel to the illuminated bar where LED walls and a pulsating dance floor provide the ideal backdrop to dance the night away.

Getaway Casino
The ship's casino spans more than 18,000 square feet midship of deck 7 and features luxurious ornamental lighting and decorative artwork including gold tiles.
Guests can try their luck on 310 of the latest slot machines along with 26 gaming tables featuring black jack, roulette, poker and craps.
Prior to visiting the casino, guests can join Norwegian’s free Casinos at Sea Players Club enabling them to earn points called Seabucks, based on the amount of time spent playing and the bets wagered. Seabucks can be redeemed during the cruise for things like spa treatments, shore excursions or even dollars off guest’s final bill.

The Tradewinds shops midship of deck 8 sell a range of tax and duty free merchandise from logo apparel and sundries to jewellery, watches, clothing, handbags, cosmetics and perfume along with duty free spirits and tobacco.

Click Photo Shop
The Click Photo Gallery on deck 5 displays all the photos taken on board the ship by the official photographers. Guests can quickly locate their photos using their cruise card which tells them which housing tower and folder number they are stored in.

The Beauty Shop sells perfumes and cosmetics from the likes of Clinique, Estee Lauder, Chanel and Gucci.

The Box Office forward of deck 7 is where guests can book to take part in reservation only entertainment from the Illusionarium to Nickelodeon Breakfasts, The Levity Entertainment live comedy shows and Wine Lovers The Musical.

678 Ocean Place
678 Ocean Place intertwines and connects three entire decks of daytime and night time entertainment and is the heart of Norwegian Getaway.
With sweeping views from each interconnected level it features a showcase colour changing chandelier and glass staircases that elegantly spiral up and down.
Each level within 678 Ocean Place offers something different, from relaxing with a Cosmopolitan at the Atrium Bar on Deck 6 to exciting casino action on Deck 7 whilst Deck 8 features The Waterfront along with countless venues offering indoor and outdoor seating.

The quarter-mile ocean view Waterfront, eight decks above the water features venues such as Ocean Blue on the Waterfront, Getaway’s seafood restaurant and the Sugarcane Mojito Bar where guests can relax with a martini on the Waterfront.

Fireworks
Norwegian Getaway features a dazzling fireworks show on every cruise under the stars at Spice H20 set to music and performed as part of a dance party.

O’Sheehan’s Neighborhood Bar & Grill
O’Sheehan’s (forward of deck 7) offers multiple entertainment features from TV’s airing sporting events to pool tables ($2.00 per game), two bowling lanes (costing $5 per game) and a selection of arcade games such as racing, interactive darts and Sonic basketball (($1.50 per game). Guests can also choose from a wide range of drinks, complimentary bar snacks and an Ice Cream bar selling everything from sundaes to milkshakes and floats.

The Atrium
Central to the ship is the three deck high atrium with its large open seating area at the base of the atrium on deck 6 and a giant screen used for airing live sporting events, movies and open Nintendo Wii gaming.
