St Tropez

St Tropez is located in south east France, in the French Riviera.

Stroll around the old part of town to see gleaming yachts in the harbour, pavement cafes and small boutique shops.

Visit the Musee de l'Annonciade, the building for this museum is a chapel dating back to the 17th century or the Maison des Papillons, which is a small butterfly museum with more than 4,500 species.

Beaches - Baie de Pampelonne. Located south of town, closer to the village of Ramatuelle. Several beaches and beach clubs are here, some quite exclusive. The most popular is Tahiti Beach (note: you will see little if any clothing!) Accessed by taxi or by the frequent beach shuttle mini buses from Place des Lices.

Fresh fish and seafood are popular menu items.

There is no Cruise Terminal here, passengers are tendered in to either the Old or New Port, in the centre of town. There is a tourist information office here.

Taxis are available but St Tropez is very walkable.
