About Sevastopol
Sevastopol is located on the Black Sea coast of the Crimean Peninsula, in Ukraine, Eastern Europe.

The city's main squares and buildings are very attractive and gardens are well looked after.
Chersonessus, the ancient Greek city, is located around a mile away where the ruins of many churches can still be seen. The Saint Vladimir Cathedral, a Neo-Byzantine Russian Orthodox cathedral can be found here.
Sevastopol has a long military history. There are many war memorials including an eternal flame, dedicated to those who fought in wars.
There is a nice beach located in the village of Lyubimovka, which is a 30 minute drive away.
Balaklava, a major battle site in the Crimean War, is two miles away. A former Russian submarine port, the State Historical and Archaeological Museum can now be found here.
