Nha Trang

Nha Trang is a coastal city and capital of Khanh Hoa province, on the South Central Coast of Vietnam in southeast Asia.

The Po Nagar Tower is the main temple in a complex of Cham towers, on a knoll at the river-mouth of the Cai River, 2km north of Nha Trang City.

Nha Tho Nui or Mountain church, was built in 1928 on a small mountain, just 12m high.

Long Sơn Pagoda is a Buddhist temple which sits at the foot of Trại Thủy mountain.

Rent a bike and see some of the area or go scuba diving.

Ba Ho Falls are located around 20km from Nha Trang. They are a string of 3 waterfalls surrounded by thick forests.

Vinpearl Golf Club is an 18 hole Championship course, located in the Vinpearl Tourism Complex on Hon Tre Island in Nha Trang Bay. Spectacular views of the bay can be seen from every hole on the course.

The area is known for good beaches, a popular one for tourists is Nha Trang beach, on the main promenade.

For families with children, Vinpearl Amusement Park is an option.

Souvenirs include carpets, ceramics and embroidered linen.

Local dishes include Ninh Hoa (grilled fermented pork roll), Bun cha ca (rice vermicelli with grilled fish and jellyfish) and fresh seafood.

Cruise ships anchor and tender passengers ashore. Nha Trang city is around 7 miles away from the pier.

Taxis and trishaws are usually available outside the port gates.
