Most large ships dock along South Franklin Street, with smaller ships using the Seadrome Dock. There is also the AJ Dock at the south end of town which may be used. Occasionally ships may be required to anchor and tender passengers ashore if the port is busy. All docks are within walking distance of the centre of town.
Taxis are available at Marine Park. The tourist kiosks lined up along the cruise docks have information about shuttle bus services.
