Exmouth

Exmouth is a town on the tip of the North West Cape in Western Australia.

Relax at one of the beaches in the Cape Range National Park or spot native wildlife such as kangaroos, emus, wallabies and birds of prey. Snorkel in the Ningaloo Reef where you can see tropical fish, sea turtles and colourful coral gardens.

Tours available include whale watching, wildlife spotting, swimming with whale sharks and glass bottom boat trips. Fishing, diving and surfing are also possible.

Souvenirs can be found at the Exmouth Visitor Centre. Popular buys include jewellery and clothing.

Enjoy a BBQ at the town beach, the local butcher will supply meat and supplies or choose one of the local restaurants where you can dine on fresh fish, seafood, burgers or Chinese.

Cruise ships are required to anchor and tender passengers ashore. The centre of town is around 2km away and shuttle buses are usually available.

There is no public transport and taxis are limited.
