Antwerp

Antwerp is a city and municipality in Belgium and the capital of the Antwerp province of Flanders. It is located on the North Sea.

As Wandelteras Zuid is right downtown, there is easy access to the National Maritime Museum, Grote Markt (the main square), the Cathedral of Our Lady and other attractions in the historic part of town.

Antwerp handles more than half of the world's diamonds and in the Diamond District, spanning several streets near Central Station there are many jewellery shops. At the Diamond Museum see the stones being processed and examples of unique diamond jewellery.

Other places of interest include the Royal Museum of Fine Arts, Antwerp Zoo and Stadspark (City Park) located in the heart of Antwerp's Jewish quarter.

The cruise terminal is located at Wandelteras Zuid, on the river Scheldt. As this is the old city district, numerous antique/souvenirs shops and museums are only around a 5 minute walk away.

Taxis are available outside the terminal building. Antwerp railway station is 1.1 miles away.
