About Eidfjord
Eidfjord is small town in the county of Hordaland, Norway, on the western part of Scandinavia in Northern Europe.

Vøringsfossen is the most famous waterfall in Norway. It is 182m high, with a free fall of 145m.

Around 7km from the port is Hardangervidda Nature Center Eidfjord, a modern and exciting centre of natural and cultural history, focused on Norwegian nature, the climate and the environment.

Fagerheim Fjellstugu’s Husky farm. Hear about working with sled dogs, meet the husky-pack of 20 dogs and watch dog sledding, sleds and other equipment demonstrated.

FlatEarth Adventures is the largest outdoor activity centre in Hardanger. Paddling instruction for beginners, sea kayak trips, rafting, climbing and mountain bike/canoe rental available.

Take the Troll train for a 1 hour sightseeing tour in the centre of Eidfjord. There is a nice view of the fjord and the mountains, a photo stop at the Viking burial ground and at the old, medieval stone church.

Items such as roast reindeer, 'meatfricadells', baked trout and meat and vegetable soup can be found on local menus.
Cruise Terminal
The port is located in the centre of town. If the dock is in use, ships may anchor and tender passengers ashore.
