Guests can access the internet and emails during their cruise either via their own wireless devices or in the ships computer room (Royalcaribbean online®) located by the Centrum on deck 4. Additional computer terminals can be found on decks 5 and 7.

Fees to access the internet are the same whether making use of the ships computers or personal wi-fi enabled devices and are as follows:

Basic rate of $0.75 per minute or guests can select a pre-paid package as listed:

$24.95 for 37 minutes ($0.66 per minute)
$49.95 for 89 minutes ($0.56 per minute)
$99.00 for 206 minutes ($0.48 per minute)
$199.55 for 554 minutes ($0.36 per minute)
$399.95 for 1599 minutes ($0.25 per minute)

The ship's computer room, located by the Centrum on deck 4, is where guests, for a charge, can access the internet, print and send e-mails.

The cost is $0.75 per minute or guests can purchase a pre-paid package via their SeaPass card as follows:

Unused prepaid minutes are non-refundable and a session won’t end automatically when all the minutes have been used with guests being charged the ‘per minute’ rate for the extended usage.

Computers for browsing the internet and complimentary printing are available to meet suite guest’s business needs on deck 7 by the elevators.

Following its refurbishment at the end of 2012, Serenade of the Seas now has ship wide Wi-Fi coverage including passengers staterooms.

To use Wi-Fi access guest’s laptops require the Windows operating system and also 802.11b Wireless networking capability (wifi enabled). Guests should also be able to use other wifi enabled item such as tablets (iPad, Blackberry Playbook etc) or Blackberry, iPhone or other smartphone.

Due to the nature of maritime satellite Internet connection, applications such as VPN, Remote Access and VOIP (including Skype®) are not supported and may or may not work.
