The 915 seat Tropical Theatre, located over decks 4,5 and 6, is home to the ships' dynamic productions complete with the glitz, glamour and special effects of Broadway and Las Vegas.

Productions such as The Rat Pack show celebrating the legends of swing featuring five musicals which have made their way to the big screens as movie musicals take place here along with performances from singers and comedians.

Additionally on select nights the theatre airs movies and the ships Love and Marriage Game Show.

Two performances take place at 7pm and 9pm to accommodate Main and Second seating dining times.

Vortex, located by the Viking Crown Lounge on deck 13 with room for 126 guests, is the ship's nightclub. Featuring a novel revolving bar which rotates at the flick of a switch, it makes a pleasant location for pre dinner drinks with its comfortable chairs and large glass windows to enjoy the sunset from.

As night falls, the club comes alive to sounds of the resident DJ and themed music nights.

During the day, the room makes a pleasant quiet observational lounge with great views.

The 258 capacity Casino Royale on deck 6 features electronic Slot Machines, Video Poker, Blackjack, Craps, Roulette and Caribbean Stud Poker. With over 200 slot machines to play ranging from penny slots to $15 slots, tournaments also take place (fees apply) on the gaming tables with large prizes on offer.

Those new to casinos can take part in a complimentary gaming session to learn the ropes on how to play the games on offer.

The 53 seat Cinema on deck 6 is an intimate traditional style viewing room where first run movies are shown on a large screen several times a day.

The 52 seat Serengeti Card Club on deck 4 includes tables for card games along with board games for guest’s enjoyment.

Resort Gear, located within the Centrum Shopping area on deck 5, sells a selection of clothes and accessories.

The Perfume Shop, located on deck 5, stocks all the latest fragrances, skincare products and cosmetics, all at duty free prices.

Guests wishing to purchase souvenirs with the Royal Caribbean logo on can do so at the Logo shop on deck 5 of the ship. Gifts on offer range thermos flasks, key rings, t-shirts and chocolates to teddy bears.

The gift shop on deck 5 retails a selection of jewellery and watches including diamond and tanzanite jewellery.

The general store on deck 5 sells duty free liquor and cigarettes along with essentials such as hair brushes, pain killers, tooth paste, suntan lotion, sweets and batteries.

Children can make their own cuddly toys in the Pets at Sea shop with a selection of animals and outfits to choose from. Available in the Adventure Ocean on deck 12 during certain times of the day.

The distinctive storefronts of the Centrum Shops on deck 5 offer an array of merchandise ranging from logo items, perfume and jewellery to liquor and cruise wear.

The nine-deck high Centrum lies at the heart of the ship on deck 4 with daytime activities including classes, demonstrations, trivia quizzes and more.

At night the recently renovated Centrum is home to the ships new jaw dropping aerial spectacles such as Aquatronica and Jack and His Magic Beans along with events such as a 70’s disco inferno show.

Aquatronica is an electronic dance presentation using light displays projected onto the floor and walls surrounding the area, including the glass elevators which feature LED panels down their entire length, providing a backdrop of moving visuals five decks high. The performers glow in the dark as they fly through the air during the aerial acrobatics display, set to music.

Other performances include Jack and His Magic Beans where an 80 foot bean stalk rises up in front of guest’s eyes during the performance staring a mysterious giant who guards the skies.

The ships' Photo Gallery can be found on deck 5 offering digital cameras and media equipment for sale as well as the work of the ship's photographers including souvenir photos taken in the ports of call and portraits taken onboard.

The ship's large outdoor movie screen, located on deck 11 above the pool, airs first-run movies and big time sporting events under the stars.

Adults can learn anything from scrapbook making to jewellery making, Salsa dancing and poker skills in the Explorer Academy workshops held on board Serenade of the seas. Times and locations are listed in the Daily Cruise Compass activity sheets delivered to guests staterooms each day.
