Schooner (Piano Bar)
The nautically themed Schooner Bar on deck 6 with room for 74 guests is the ideal spot to enjoy a drink with friends. On entering the bar guests who will detect a unique scent which originates from pitch made of pine tar mixed with oakum used to preserve rigging that was used on tall ships. The mast-like setup in the bar with its ropes and knots are treated with this pitch creating the aroma.
Activities on offer in Schooner’s range from Family Scavenger Hunts and trivia competitions to daily Sudoku and Crossword puzzles to challenge guest’s brains.

Cafe Latte-tudes (Coffee Bar)
Cafe Latte-tudes, located on deck 5 with sea views, provides the ideal spot to sit down with a latte and a good book, catch up on emails or enjoy an after-dinner cappuccino with friends.
The menu includes lattes, cappuccinos and espressos (charges apply) along with complimentary pastries, cakes and cookies. Beer, wine and soft drinks are also served at the informal speciality coffee house.
Prices range from around $2.85 to $3.65 for a small cappuccino, latte or caramel macchiato to between $3.95 and $4.65 for a large cup. Tazo tea and chai lattes are also available along with Frappuccino drinks priced from $4.00 to $4.50 for a grande. Syrup shots are an additional 50 cents per shot.

Vintages (Wine Bar)
Vintages, with its wall of windows, is the ships' signature wine bar where guests can sit back and enjoy a glass of fine wine. It replaced the Champagne Bar in Serenade of the Seas' 2012 refit and is located on deck 6. Vintages was developed with Robert Mondavi, Beringer® Blass Wine Estates and Niebaum-Coppola and offers guests wines from some of the world’s finest vineyards.
During a cruise a number of tastings and classes are held such as champagne cocktail tastings and Martini tastings offering a choice of three different martinis in a two ounce glass, with costs beginning at around $20.00 per person.

Crown & Castle Pub
The Crown & Castle Pub is a traditional English-themed pub serving various imported beers and ales.
With its brick façade, wood panelled interior, traditional wooden tables, chairs and bar stools the pub, located on deck 6, is a hive of activity with everything from Nintendo Wii open play and general knowledge quizzes to darts contests taking place.
Musical entertainment is also on offer with live guitar performances and sing-a-longs at night.

R Bar (Cocktail Bar)
Guests can experience a 1960s vibe at the new R Bar, featuring iconic furnishings and classic cocktails served by the ship’s resident mixologist.
Located on deck 4 seating 59 guests and replacing the Lobby Bar during the ships revitalization program at the end of 2012, guests can enjoy watching the new shows taking place in the renovated Centrum accompanied by a drink specially created to complement the areas nightly theme and aerial performances.

Pool Bar
The alfresco Pool Bar serves the ships outdoor pool on deck 11 with refreshments throughout the day.

Concierge Club (Lounge)
Guests staying in Grand Suite-level rooms and higher, Diamond Plus and Pinnacle Club Crown & Anchor® Society members enjoy access to the Concierge Club on deck 13 within the Viking Crown Lounge serving complimentary continental breakfast and evening drinks.
Seating around 70 guests inside with room for a further 35 out on deck (offering a good vantage point for sail-a-ways) it is served by its own bar and special coffee maker with snacks and canapés on offer throughout the day.

Viking Crown (Lounge)
The 196 seat Viking Lounge sits high above the ocean, forward of deck 13, and encompasses three areas comprising of the lounge itself, the Concierge Club and the Diamond Club.
It's location results in the comfortable lounge offering spectacular sweeping panoramic views out of its huge windows by day making it a great observational lounge, whilst at night it transforms into a lively dance club.

Safari Club (Lounge)
The Safari Club, aft of deck 6 and accommodating up to 320 guests, is a customisable entertainment space with four different clubs: The Games Reserve (starboard side), Serengeti Card Club (port side), The Congo Bar (aft) and Zanzibar Lounge (starboard). The area includes bars and a central dance floor and is decorated with dark wood, parquet flooring and colourful seating.
A hub of activity, the area is used for everything from line dancing lessons and Champagne Art Auctions to Nintendo Wii tournaments, game shows (including Majority Rules, Battle of the Sexes and 60 or less) and an adult karaoke hour.

Diamond Club (Lounge)
The Diamond Club is located in a section of the Viking Crown Lounge, portside of the ship on deck 13. It is open to Diamond, Diamond Plus, and Pinnacle Club Crown & Anchor® Society members serving guests with concierge access, complimentary continental breakfast, and evening drinks.

Zanzibar (Lounge)
On the starboard side of the room is the Zanzibar Lounge area with polished wood furniture, brass work and tables to sit at that have checkers, chess or backgammon boards built into them for guests to enjoy. (The counters are provided in little glass dishes set into the tables).

The Game Reserve
As guests enter the Safari Club on deck 6, the 15 seat Game Reserves is home to the ships self-balancing Gyro pool tables which compensate for the movement of the ship as well as a large screen television where Nintendo Wii competitions take place.

The Congo Bar
Furthest aft of the Safari Club entertainment area on deck 6 is the 99 seat Congo Bar which stretches across nearly the entire stern with floor-to-ceiling windows. Guests can sit at the square-shaped bar serving cocktails such as Mojitos or at a table near the windows and enjoy the great views.

Sky Bar
The outdoor Sky Bar on deck 12 seats 26 guests and is located directly above Serenades pool bar with steps leading down to the pool deck offering an additional bar for guests using the sports zone to purchase a drink from.
