The ship's state of the art fitness centre is aft of the Sun Deck opposite the kids clubs.

The centre features a full range of equipment from treadmills, recumbent bicycles and ellipticals to free weights and strength equipmment.

In addition to the stunning ocean views, the majority of the equipment also feature personal tv screens whilst some also have interactive virtual experience screens such as the bikes so guests feel as though they are actually on the open road with other cyclists.

Royal Princess has 8 hot tubs on board located as follows:-

One hydro pool in the Lotus Spa (Plaza Deck)

Two hot tubs by the fountain pool (Lido Deck)

Two hot tubs over looking the fountain pool on the Sun Deck

Two hot tubs by the retreat pool (Sun Deck)

One hot tub in the teen open area (Sun Deck)

Leading off the central Piazza, forward of the Royal Princess is the Lotus Spa where guests can relax in comfortable surroundings with luxurious décor and services whilst enjoying the ultimate in mind and body renewal.

Guests can start off in the Relaxation Lounge for a drink before engaging in one of the numerous treatments available or enjoying the tranquil thermal suite.

Included in the treatment rooms is the Couple's Villas offering guests their own private retreat with side by side massage tables, relaxing seating area, soothing whirlpool bath and customized music all designed for the ultimate deep relaxation experience.

After treatments, passengers' can then enjoy the thermal suite, known as "The Enclave at Lotus Spa". The Enclave offers the following thermal experiences:-

Hammam Room - Steam room to release toxins and revitalise the immune system.

Hydrotherapy Pool - featuring a cascading central rain shower and massage jets focusing on the neck and body to soothe aching muscles and joints.

Laconium - a dry heat sauna to detoxify, improve circulation, breathing and purify the skin.

Caldarium - a powerful steam room designed to open and cleanse the pores.

Sensory Showers - Four showers from hot to cold featuring dynamic mood lighting and infused with different aromas.

A mixologist will also be present to help guests mix their own blends of sugar and salt rubs to enhance the whole experience by softening and exfoliating the skin.

The ship's unisex salon offers a range of services from men's services, hair cuts and styling to manicures and pedicures.

The retreat pool is the ship's adult only pool located on the Sun Deck with two hot tubs and four poolside private cabanas.

Drinks are available from the sanctuary bar and entertainment is provided from the bandstand at the end of the pool.

An adult only retreat, the Sanctuary at the front of the Sun Deck provides an oasis of tranquillity for guests with private cabanas with their own refrigerators and flat screen TV's.

Leading off the sanctuary is the ship's adult only retreat pool with four private cabanas at the edge of the pool and two hot tubs.

Charges apply for the access to the sanctuary.

The ship's separate aerobics studio leading off the gym on the Sun Deck offers classes including spinning, yoga, pilates and TRX.

Spinning classes undertake a tour de cycle programme where guests routines mimic stages of the Tour de France.

Yoga classes include Chi Ball yoga where guests use different coloured aromatherapy balls infused with mood enhancing essential oils to promote balance and well being.

TRX uses nylon resistance straps attached to the walls giving guests a total body training workout.
