The 1,380 seat 3 deck high Opal Theatre is located on Entertainment Place completely forward. It includes a spiral staircase at each side of the stage and a moveable bridge across the top. Incorporated into the stage are aerial wires that are integrated into some of the “Come Fly With Me” show.

The state of the art theatre features the ships Broadway-style theatre productions and aerial acts with two performances per night.

The smash hit Broadway musical 'Hairspray' show set in 1962 follows the story of Tracy Turnblad, a big girl with big aspirations who wins a spot on “The Corny Collins” show and becomes a teen sensation overnight.

The aerial production show 'Come Fly with Me' follows a journey of fun, fantasy, and escape. Developed exclusively to feature the architecture and technology of the Opal Theatre, the show features daring aerial artistry, dance sequences and vocal performances supported by impressive scenic, video and costume designs.

Other shows include the Headliner Show featuring world class singers, musicians, magic and juggling acts.

Guests can book reservations for these productions either online before embarkation, at the Box Office on the Royal Promenade, or from their stateroom televisions.

DreamWorks 3D movies are also shown in the theatre along with activities including the Love and Marriage Game Show and Bingo.
Aquatheatre

The 735 seat outdoor Aquatheatre is situated outside of Entertainment Place at the end of the Boardwalk. It's centrepiece is a pool that incorporates risers that can change the pools depth from 18 feet to the level of the surrounding deck via three advanced stage machinery devices enabling performers to do shows that include high diving (from 3m and 10m high platforms), synchronized swimming, water ballet, dramatic acrobatics and trampoline performances.

The Oasis of Dreams Aqua Show features a cast of professional divers, synchronized swimmers and gymnasts. It is set to an original soundtrack and synchronized with fountain shows and lighting & special effects where the cast perform a heart pounding routine, showing off the incredible sound system.

The Aquatheatre is also used as an outdoor cinema airing films and music concerts on the twin jumbo LED screens and features deckchair style seating in an amphitheatre style layout.

Across from Comedy Live is Blaze, Oasis of Seas' nightclub with its dungeon theme and VIP area separated from the main area of the club by floor to ceiling spiral iron railings. Headlining DJ Fingersmith from the Scratch DJ Academy, the hottest music on the charts is played late into the night.

The ships lively nightclub is aimed at the younger cliental on board and also hosts, at the beginning of the night, a family fun experience hour with activities including music games and dancing.

Oasis’s Casino Royale, midship of deck 4, is inspired by the casinos of the French Riviera where guests can choose from over 400 slot machines, around 100 penny machines, and 27 gaming tables including Blackjack, roulette, craps and Caribbean Stud Poker to play on.

Guests using the casino can either pay cash or use their Sea Pass card to play games and smoking is permitted on one side of the casino.

Guests new to casinos can attend special introductory events which teach them all about the games on offer whilst the more experienced gamer can take part in tournaments such as the Sit & Go Texas Hold’Em tournament ($100 entry fee).

Focus, midship of decks 5 and 6 is the ship's photo gallery where guests can view portraits taken on board the ship by the official photographers. Images can be easily located as they are held in containers dedicated to each guest whose photo number can be found on their sea pass card which indicates what stand number their photos will be in via the ships facial recognition photo system.

Focus also sells a range of cameras and accessories.

The SeaTrek Dive Shop, located on deck 15 outside the teenager’s area and near to the Sports Pool, sells a selection of equipment from snorkels and masks to wet suits. It is also the place to visit for guests wishing to take place in a scuba diving course. For $249, guests can get a PADI Scuba Diver Certification which is acknowledged worldwide. The pre-entry level certification allows guests to dive to 40 feet after certification under the supervision and guidance of a dive professional. Diving practice takes place in the deep AquaTheatre pool aft of deck 4.

Studio B on deck 3 seats 775 guests and is a versatile area transforming from an ice palace to a game show theatre. The multipurpose studio complex is filled with activity all day long, from ice-skating to cooking demonstrations.

In the evenings the ships ice show takes place featuring professional ice skaters from around the world. Entitled “Frozen in Time”, the ice Show centres around the classic story’s of Hans Christian Anderson, featuring the Emperor’s New Clothes, The Snow Queen, The Little Mermaid, The Red shoes and the Ugly Duckling all brought together in an ice dance spectacular. Reservations are recommended.

Other activities include the 60 Seconds or less game show where contestants complete a physical challenge using ordinary household items and the Battle of the Sexes audience participation game.

As guests enter the Boardwalk (deck 6) from the Aft Lobby on deck six, they are met with a view of the carousel. As they approach the carousel, they pass a series of sculptures showing the carving process from block of wood to the finished carousel horse.

Inspired by the seaside piers along the coast of England and the nostalgic American boardwalks of yesteryear such as Coney Island, the Boardwalk is a line up of dining venues all themed with the spirit of the seaside such as fresh donuts at the Boardwalk Donut Shop, hamburgers at Johnny Rockets, sweet treats at Candy Beach, and fresh crab at the Seafood Shack.

Located either side of the Seafood Shack is a small play area for children with a sailing and rowing boat one side to climb in and a double decker bus the other side to pretend to steer. The Boardwalk also features fun house mirrors for guests to enjoy.

Jazz on 4 is a relatively small (92 seat) Jazz Bar and club. The bar features rich, warm tones of walnut panelling, plush red and chocolate sofas and chairs and velvety curtains decorated with hand-stitched Swarovski crystals that sparkle as they catch light.

Located on deck 4 amidst the Entertainment Place neighbourhood, fans of jazz can enjoy soulful sounds in an intimate environment with live performances each night.

The 120 seat Comedy Live venue is situated adjacent to Jazz on 4 on deck 4. It's décor is inspired by the abandoned Brooklyn City Hall train station in New York. The exterior of the club resembles a subway train station entrance, whilst the interior walls are decorated with 1950s style advertising posters.

Comedy Live is Oasis’s adult only stand up comedy club and reservations are required for some shows (as detailed in Cruise Compass daily activity sheets) whilst some operate on a first come first serve basis. Reservations can be made through guests stateroom interactive TV’s or via the Box Office on the Royal Promenade deck.

The club features nightly performances with two comedians taking to the stage each night during one hour long shows performed two to three times nightly.

The carousel lies at the forward end of the Boardwalk and is preceded by a number of carousel horses in various stages of completion from half carved blocks of wood to partially painted horses. The carousel itself is handcrafted from wood featuring 20 figures suspended from stainless steel poles showcasing a time honoured menagerie of animals such as zebras, giraffes and lions alongside a variety of hand-painted horses including a princess horse and a crowned frog prince. It is free to use and all riders must be at least 42 inches tall to ride alone. Those under this height need to be supervised by an adult (18 or over) stood next to child to hold them on the ride. Two riders are not permitted on one animal.

The Royal Promenade is located at the heart of Oasis and features a mezzanine level and two giant arched skylights, the Crystal Canopies, that allow natural light to flood down from Central Park. Parked in the middle of the Royal Promenade is a 1935 Auburn Boattail Speedster replica car.

Visitors can enjoy a coffee while people-watching in the morning, some shopping and lunch in the afternoon, and endless nightlife and entertainment in the evenings.

Events here include the street parades performed by the ship's singers and Cruise Director's staff with the giant globe above the English style pub opening out into a cantilevered bridge stretching out across the promenade for performers to appear on during such events.

The Rockin' Rhythm Street Party takes place down the lengths of the Royal Promenade, across the Captain’s Bridge and up on the Rising Tide Bar and the mezzanine as guests dance to the music of the 70’s in the disco-themed street party.

The DreamWorks parade includes more than 70 performers with some of DreamWorks most popular characters from “Shrek”, “Kung Fu Panda”, Madagascar” and “How to Train Your Dragon” taking centre stage.

Home to an array of shops, bars and places to eat as well as entertainment areas, the lighting in the area changes throughout the day creating different ambiances as the parades bring the area alive.

Central Park provides an outdoor area where guests can relax in a space full of trees and plants. The superstructure is divided into two and features two Crystal Canopies where guests can view activities taking place on the Royal Promenade below. Towering up either side of Central Park are 'living walls' spanning five decks and featuring flowering vines of red and white Mandevilla 'Sun Parasol', Petrea volubilis 'Purple Wreath', Clerodendron 'Bleeding Heart', Alternanthera dentata 'Purple Knight' and Thunbergia 'Stormy Sky'.

Home to some of the ships top speciality restaurants, Vintages Wine Bar, the Coach Store and Art Gallery, within Central Park are a series of garden spaces which include The Pergola Garden featuring tendrils of flowering bleeding heart entwined through the overhead trellis. The Sculpture Garden integrates artwork from international artists and unique planting whilst sweet olive trees frame a pleasant area to sit and enjoy a view of the park. The middle pathway guides visitors over a bridge spanning a river of plants past the special gardens, restaurants and boutique shops and onto the central square.

Guests access the ship's casino through themed walkways, The Hall of Odds and the Museum of Gaming. Each walkway immerses passengers in the experience of gambling and a casino even before they arrive.

Entertainment Place forward of deck 4 is the contemporary nightclub district featuring after-dark spaces in intimate venues offering a variety of entertainment each night. The neighbourhood includes the Amber Theatre, Jazz on 4, Comedy Live and Blaze and Casino Royale accessed through the Hall of Odds.

On Air is the ships dedicated karaoke and sports bar seating 113 guests and located along the Royal Promenade on deck 5 opposite Boleros.

Decorated in blues, reds and purples with neon style lighting and famous quotes adorning the walls, a number of TVs are suspended above the bar airing sporting events such as NFL games.

Featuring a variety of seating arrangements in front of the stage to enjoy the karaoke performances that take place each night, guests can also opt to use a small booth to record their karaoke song for posterity.

During the day a number of trivia competitions take place from logos and mascots trivia to music trivia and the Majority Rules game show.

Dazzles is the ships 2-story music & dancing lounge. With a mirrored ceiling, crushed velvet furnishings and colour changing chandeliers is a quiet venue during the day which comes alive at night with live music and an impressive backdrop view of the Boardwalk, visible through floor to ceiling windows.

A party band regularly plays at Dazzles, which is aimed towards the slightly older guests, along with a host of other activities from pre-dinner dancing and ballroom dancing to big band music, Rock ‘n’ roll dance parties and 80’s theme nights.

During the day, Dazzles is open for guests to take in the view of the bustling activity on the Boardwalk over a drink or learn a new dance move with a professional dance instructor.
