The Venetian Dining Room (aft of deck 6 and seating 447 guests) is one of the ship's two main dining rooms serving a multi-course menu of freshly prepared cuisine. It is open for Breakfast (7.30am to 9.30am) Lunch (12 to 1.30pm) and Dinner (5pm to 9.30pm).
All dining on Norwegian Cruise Lines are freestyle (no fixed times or pre-assigned seating).

The Blue Lagoon Restaurant, located on deck 8 midship, with seating for 86 guests, is Norwegian Dawn’s 24-Hour Food Court and is the ideal place to grab a quick snack from within the family friendly atmosphere.
The restaurants serves an Early Risers Breakfast between 5.30am and 7.00am, followed by either an Express Breakfast of fruit juice, yogurt, scrambled eggs with bacon, pastries, coffee or tea, or buffet style breakfast offering fruit juices, muffins, pastries, omelettes, full English and French toast between 7.00am and 11.30am.
For the remainder of the day options range from burgers, fish and chips, salads, fries and buffalo chicken wings to tomato soup, beef burgers and New York Cheesecake.

‘Molecular Gastronome' consisting of Spherical Mango, Vodka & Jalapeno Ravioli and an Orange-Wasabi Glazed Ahi Tuna Tartar with freshly-baked Sesame Crisp.

Once per cruise, Norwegian Dawn holds a “Presumed Murdered Lunch” for 86 guests at a charge of $20 per person (reservations required). Held in the Grand Atrium (midship, deck 7) from 11.15am to 11.45pm entertainment is provided by “The Second City” cast who teamed up with crime novelist Scott Turow to create a hilarious who-done-it murder mystery where guests try and find the killer whilst enjoying a set three course lunch (usually a salad to start, chicken main course and a dessert).

The Garden Cafe (seating 434 guests) on deck 12 midship, is the ship's buffet restaurant offering a family-friendly menu.
It opens for early risers breakfast from 5.30am to 6.30am followed by the choice of either an Express Breakfast of fruit juice, yogurt, scrambled eggs with bacon, pastries, coffee or tea or a buffet breakfast, from 7am to 11.30am, with options including items such as fruit juice, fresh fruit, muffins and pastries, cereals, eggs fried, boiled, scrambled or poached, omelettes with a selection of fillings, pancakes, waffles, bacon, baked beans, sausages, cold cuts, pancakes, coffee, tea and hot chocolate.
A lunch buffet is served from 11.30am to 3pm, dinner buffet from 5pm to 9.30pm and late night snacks between 9.30pm and 11pm.
Lunch and dinner options are similar with a range of salads, pasta, pizza, Indian dishes, Chinese dishes, vegetarian options, cold cuts, meat, vegetables and sandwiches with a few extra hot options for dinner such as additional pasta dishes, carvery and potato gratin.
The cafe also features the Kid’s Cafe in one corner with special chairs and tables at children’s height and their own menu selections.
Special themed buffets are held in the Garden Cafe such as Norwegian’s Chocolate Buffet.
It opens for early risers breakfast from 5.30am to 6.30am followed by the choice of either an Express Breakfast of fruit juice, yogurt, scrambled eggs with bacon, pastries, coffee or tea or a buffet breakfast, from 7am to 11.30am, with options including items such as fruit juice, fresh fruit, muffins and pastries, cereals, eggs fried, boiled, scrambled or poached, omelettes with a selection of fillings, pancakes, waffles, bacon, baked beans, sausages, cold cuts, pancakes, coffee, tea and hot chocolate.
A lunch buffet is served from 11.30am to 3pm, dinner buffet from 5pm to 9.30pm and late night snacks between 9.30pm and 11pm.

Norwegian Cruise Line has recently introduced a new Specialty Dining Package called "Signature Trio," that enables guests to pre-purchase three specialty restaurants: The Steakhouse, French Bistro and Italian restaurant, prior to sailing at a special rate of $57 per person (saving $8 per person).
