The expansive two level Spa encompassing more than 23,000 square feet and located forward of decks 14 and 15, features the first salt room at sea and state of the art fitness facility offering a variety of innovative fitness options.

The Spa, which also includes a Medi Spa, Salon and Barber Shop, allows guests to experience well-trained massage therapists specialising in over 50 treatments from hot stone massages to oxygen facials.

Acupuncture and age-defying treatments are available as well.

The private spa, located forward of deck 16, is for guests staying in the Villas complex providing them with access to their own small private fitness centre which includes treadmills, exercise bikes and a steam room.

The Fitness Centre can be found forward of deck 15 and features the first ever Nexersys® interactive fight training modules at sea where guests partake in high intensity training against an avatar.

Other new classes include “Freestyle Fight Klub” which combines Nexersys® training with cardio boxing class using the fitness centre’s 12 heavy bags, “Black Light Spinning” were guests exercise on bikes to up tempo music in a room lit entirely by black lights and neon graffiti art, “Spirals” which is a Pilates-inspired class using weighted balls for added resistance and “Chi Balls” – a group class inspired by traditional Chinese medicine with elements of yoga, tai chi and meditation.

Guests can also stretch like The Rockettes® by taking an exclusive fitness class designed by The Rockettes® training team.

The fitness centre itself features a fully-equipped ocean view gym with the latest Technogym® cardio equipment and weights, with all cardio equipment synched to iPod music players and large HD screens enabling guests to watch television during workouts, follow a set training programme or navigate the playlist on their iPod.

The TRX Suspension Training is also available in the fitness centre and is a form of resistance training including bodyweight exercises to develop strength, balance, flexibility, and joint stability.

Charges apply for classes and personal training sessions with nutritional consultations and metabolic testing also available. Chiball fire yoga and pure form pilates cost $12 per class (or $30 for three classes), TRX suspension training costs $25, Norwegian Fight Klub $25, Flywheel indoor cycling $30 and body sculpt boot camp $120 (which covers four sessions).

The Spa Thermal Suite is situated forward of deck 15, with a charge of around $49 per person per day or a week long pass for $199 per person.

With a relaxation area offering tea, coffee, water and fresh fruit to sit in before or after using the area, the thermal suite includes a Jacuzzi next to the heated vitality pool (which features a warm waterfall cascading onto guests shoulders and back), a sauna, salt room and steam bath.

The Sanarium (dry heat sauna) operates at 60-65 degrees centigrade with 25-41% humidity whilst the Aromatic Steam Bath operates at between 45-48 degrees centigrade with 100% humidity.

The tranquil thermal suite also offers guests spectacular views of the ocean whilst relaxing on one of the 13 heated loungers included in the area.

Spice H20, located at the back of the ship on deck 16, is an adult only area with contemporary Asian influences providing day time relaxation and night time exhilaration.

A selection of sun loungers surround a huge video screen complete with two hot tubs and a dual waterfall feature perfect to cooling off from the sun. At night the area transforms into an open air nightclub where guests can dance under the stars or relax at the bar with accompanying lounge area featuring comfortable seating and enjoy the ocean views.

The Vibe Beach Club forward of deck 17 is one of the ship's two over 18’s only venues and features an oversized hot tub, luxurious chaise longue and a relaxing water feature.

The Beach Club also has its own full liquor bar, refreshing fruit skewers, water spritzers and chilled towels. To access the facilities guests must purchase an access pass which are limited in number and cost around $20 per person per day or $79 per person for a week long pass.

Guests can also rent out a cabana within the beach club as follows:

Full Sea Day Rental: Day access pass purchase ($20) plus $79 allowing access to the cabana by 2 guests and which includes a $30 credit for food and beverage (which is non-refundable)

Full Port Day Rental: Day access pass purchase ($20) plus $59 allowing access to the cabana by 2 guests and which includes a $30 credit for food and beverage (which is non-refundable)

Full Cruise Cabana Rental: $299 which includes a week access pass and cabana use for 2 guests and a $100 credit for food and beverage (which is non-refundable)

Vibe can accommodate a maximum of 88 guests.

Breakaway has a number of hot tubs on board which are located in the private Haven Courtyard on deck 16 (for Villa guests only), within the Thermal Suite of the Spa forward of deck 15, two in adult only Spice H20 aft of deck 16 and four around the main pool midship of deck 15.

The Salon forward of deck 15 within the spa complex offers a full service of men’s and women’s treatments from waxing and manicures to haircuts and shaves.

The Haven Private Sundeck forward of deck 17 is reserved for guests staying in the Villas Complex.

The Private Spa, located forward of deck 16, is for guests staying in the Villas complex providing them with access to their own small private fitness centre which includes treadmills, exercise bikes and a steam room.

The Salt Room comprises of a dramatic grotto setting in which guests can enjoy a unique, indulgent and beneficial spa experience.

The Salt Room mimics natural salt caves found in Eastern Europe and the non-invasive treatment, halotherapy, is relaxing, natural and scientifically proven to alleviate respiratory and skin ailments, strengthen the immune system, promote better sleep and aid in overall wellness.

Guests can access the Salt Room as part of the thermal suite package which costs around $49 per day or $200 per week.

The Barber Shop forward of deck 15 offers a range of services for men from haircuts to traditional warm shaves and moisturising grooming treatments.

The 22 treatment rooms offer more than 50 services for both men and women ranging from Elemis facials such as the “24 Karat Gold Facial” ($325 for 75 minute treatment) and massages from Thai Herbal Poultice ($195 for 75 minute treatment) to bliss® triple oxygen treatment ($160), Botox®, Restylane®, Perlane® and GO SMILE teeth whitening ($149).
