The Darwin Lounge on the Discovery deck provides the location for talks during the day and live music and entertainment at night with seating for 270 guests and served by its own bar.

Enrichment lectures are provided by guest speakers drawn from academia, the military, the diplomatic service and the arts and can also be viewed on cabin TV.

Other activaties include art classes, choir at sea, craft workshops such as jewellery making, sewing and embroidery and digital workshops.

The Bridge Club, located on the Sun Deck, is the ship's card and function room with 15 tables. It hosts Bridge tournaments and board games such as backgammon. It also provides guests new to the game of bridge a chance to learn how to play the game.

Two shops are located on the Discovery Deck at the end of Scott’s Lounge selling a number of duty free goods and gifts along with small essentials passengers may require during the cruise.

Purchases are charged to guest's onboard accounts. The shop is always closed whilst the ship is in port to comply with local customs regulations.
