MSC Opera

The Teatro Dell’Opera, with seating for 713 guests, spans decks 5 and 6 and is home to MSC Opera’s shows ranging from singers, classical music and jugglers to shadow puppeteers and acrobatic gymnastics.

Two shows are performed each night at around 7.30pm and 9.30pm to cater for early and late seating’s in the ship's main dining room and last for around half an hour. Due to the ship's multi-cultural passengers the shows tend to largely feature musical or visual acts.

The Caruso Lounge, with its large picture windows, is located on deck 7 and is served by its own bar and dance floor. It is the ship's second main entertainment venue.

Small scale musical performances take place at this venue along with social dancing.

The ship's disco, Byblos on deck 12, is served by its own bar and seats 322 guests in plush pink chairs and settees.

The disco opens around midnight and continues into the early hours.

The Montecarlo Casino (open to over 18’s only), is situated on deck 6 of the ship, with a selection of gaming tables and slot machines and served by its own bar.

Smoking is permitted within the casino and table bets tend to have a minimum of €5 per bet on port days and €2 per bet on sea days.

Opera’s card room can be found forward of deck 7 outside the Caruso Lounge and is also the ship's library and reading room.

Via Condotti, midship of deck 5 on Opera, is the ship's shopping area with a selection of retail outlets and occasional stalls selling a selection of promotional items.

The ship's Photo Gallery on deck 6, displays photos and videos of guests taken by the ship's official photographers which guests can purchase if they wish to. Guests can also have portraits taken with a selection of backdrops or locations throughout the ship.

Selections of photographic products are also on sale ranging from films and batteries to digital cameras and video cameras along with binoculars all at duty free prices.

Lei & Lui Boutique on deck 5 sells women's, men's and children's clothing attire.

Gioielleria is the ship's upmarket jewellery and deluxe accessories shop and can be found on deck 5 of Opera.

Gallery on deck 5 sells a selection of watches, sunglasses and fashion jewellery.

The duty free shop is located on deck 5 of Opera, and retails a selection of tobacco, liquors, snacks and essentials.

The Beauty and Cosmetics shop sells a range of perfumes and cosmetics with brands such as Dior, Lancôme and Guerlain.

It is located on deck 5 of the ship.

The Accessories Shop on deck 5 of the ship sells bags, belts and leather goods.
