Animator's Palate is one of Disney Magic’s Main Dining rooms located aft of deck 4 serving contemporary Pacific Rim cuisine including Pacific Island foods, Asian cooking, fresh California fare and a host of other cultural and culinary influences.

Guests step into a room where the walls are adorned with sketches showcasing characters and scenes from Disney and Disney Pixar films, both classic and modern, and artwork incorporating tools of the animation trade—like character sketches, maquettes, light boxes, paint brushes, coloured pencils and computer work stations.

Typically served between 5.30 pm and 6.00 pm (Main Seating) and 8.00pm and 8.30pm (Second Seating), dinner is part of the reserved Rotational Dining that occurs nightly during every cruise.

Animator's Palate offers a 4-course meal to accommodate the palates of guests of all ages.

Beverages available in Animator’s Plate include bar drinks, bottled water, speciality coffee and wine (at an additional charge) alongside complimentary Coffee, Soda, Fruit Juice, Milk, Rice Milk and Tea (Iced or Hot). Guests can also bring their own wine or Champagne to the dining room although a $20.00 per bottle corking fee applies.

Animator's Palate offers a whole new dining experience, aside from fine food guests enjoy innovative dinner shows celebrating the art of Disney storytelling and animation, where many beloved Disney characters come to life right before their eyes from pencil test to ink-and-paint to storytelling.

Diners get to follow a hero's journey through Disney and Pixar animation, from wishing upon a star to happily-ever-after before an emotional finale when the black-and-white interior of the restaurant is transformed with splashes of vibrant colours as Sorcerer Mickey makes an appearance.

On 7-night sailings and longer guests can also take part in an Animation Magic dinner where they can draw their own characters and then watch as their creation becomes part of the show, dancing alongside some favourite classic Disney characters!

Lumiere's is one of Disney Magic’s 3 main dining restaurants seating approximately 462 diners. Located on deck 3 midship, it serves classic American fare for breakfast and lunch and continental cuisine with a French flair for dinner.

The restaurant is named after the scheming French candelabra who tries to get the Beast to fall in love with Belle in Disney's classis Beauty and the Beast film. Guests are greeted by the bronze statue of Mickey Mouse steering a helm as they make their way into a spacious ballroom, where glowing rose flowers hang in glass domes and golden Art Deco columns come together with a large mural starring characters from the hit Disney film.

Breakfast is served from around 7.00am to 9.30am while the ship is in port and from 8.00am to 9.30am on sea days.

Palo is Disney Magic’s select 130-seat, Adult (18+) exclusive restaurant located on Deck 10 aft serving Northern Italian cuisine with a contemporary twist for dinner nightly and a brunch on 4-night and longer cruises.

Named after the signature long poles used to push and pull gondolas in and around Venice, the décor features elegant Venetian glass, inlaid wood panelling and sweeping 270-degree panoramic ocean views out of the elegant floor-to-ceiling windows.

Palo is the perfect setting for a more intimate and romantic dinner with Venetian masks adorning the walls, a backlit bar at the restaurant's centre and an open kitchen enhancing the whole experience.

Reservations are required and can be made online or upon boarding the ship. When dining at Palo, guests will skip the regularly scheduled Main Dining restaurant.

Children can eat their lunch and dinner whilst at Disney's Oceaneer Club, providing grown-ups with the ideal opportunity to visit the adult only Palo restaurant. Children who don’t wish to eat whilst at the club will still be able to take part in activities during meal times.

For families with second dinner seating, parents can opt to have their children take part in Dine and Play where children receive their meals earlier and are then escorted by counsellors to youth clubs, while adults can enjoy their dinner at a more leisurely pace. To participate, guests need to let their server know upon their arrival.

Cabanas is Disney Magic’s casual dining restaurant located aft of deck 9 with both indoor and alfresco seating. The casual buffet eatery is decorated in an understated beach design featuring wood carvings inspired by the “Finding Nemo” film depicting Nemo and his friends near the entrance.

For breakfast and lunch, Cabanas serves fresh food buffet-style whilst at dinner it is transformed into a waiter service restaurant serving Main Dining specialties and entrees cooked to order in the show kitchen. Cocktails and specialty drinks can be ordered from the full-service Clam Bar.

Breakfast includes options such as made-to-order Omelettes, Scrambled Eggs, Hash Browns, Pancakes, Mickey-shaped Waffles, Ham Steak, Sausages, Donuts, Danishes, Toast, Bagels, Muffins, Cereal and Juices.

Lunch is available on most days at Cabanas. Although the menu changes frequently, lunch items vary from Salads, Soups, Assorted fruits, Grilled lamb chops, Rib-eye steak, Marinated chicken breast with pico de gallo, Salmon steak and Grilled Swordfish to Pizza, Pasta, Stuffed zucchini, Macaroni Cheese Deli Sandwiches, cakes, desserts and ice cream. Drinks include coffee, tea, iced tea, soda, juices and milk.

Dinner in Cabanas offer all the flavours of the main dining rooms but in a more casual setting with ocean views and wide selection of appetisers, entrees and desserts.

Carioca's is another of Disney Magic’s three Main Dining Rooms on deck 3, aft. Named after Donald Duck's amigo in Disney's The Three Caballeros (with a mural depicting the Three Caballeros, Donald Duck, José Carioca and Panchito on the main wall), Carioca's serves contemporary classic fare for breakfast and lunch and South American specialties for dinner.

With a Brazilian theme of hanging festival lanterns and marketplace baskets, wavy floor patterns that recall the breezy beach sidewalks of Copacabana and colourful facades replicating South American architecture, Carioca's is designed to be festive during the day and, through the use of lighting and a night time panorama of Rio de Janeiro, elegant in the evening.

Serving American fare, a breakfast buffet is available from approximately 8.30am through to 10.45am on select days. Breakfast fare includes the usual selection of fruit juices, fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, Danish pastries and breads, eggs, pancakes and hot beverages. Specialty drinks like cappuccino, espresso and café latte are also available and on 7-night or longer sailings, a Disney Character breakfast is offered.

Lunch is the standard buffet fare with fresh salad stations, fish and meat dishes, pasta with a selection of sauces, rice dishes, fresh bread from rolls to Focaccia and fruit and desserts. Each day different special dishes are available along with the standard offerings.

Rotational dining is the Disney Cruise Line way of making sure that all guests experience each themed dining environment on-board. Every evening passengers dine with the same tablemates and have the same servers as they "rotate" to one of 3 main restaurants.

Guests receive their dining schedule when they board, telling them when and where to go. Prior to bookings, request for early or late sitting and numbers dining at each table can be made but are not guaranteed.

Children's menus are available in the restaurants.

Preludes can be found deck 4, forward, just outside the Walt Disney Theatre. The bar serves beverages and snacks and opens during live show performances and movies.

Preludes also offers wait-staff service inside the Walt Disney Theatre before the curtain goes up, so guests can enjoy a cocktail during the show without having to leave their seat.
