Donald’s Pool
Donald’s Pool
Donald's Pool, one of 3 freshwater pools on the Disney Dream, is designed for families and located on deck 11, midship. Guests can enjoy a dip in the pool's refreshing water or relax poolside where they can soak up some sun.

Adorned with a colourful rendering of a smiling Donald Duck on the floor, the pool has a maximum depth of 5 feet and caters to both parents and kids, allowing the entire family to cool off and make new friends while onboard. The pool area also includes an array of deck chairs, available on a first-come, first-served basis.

At various times each day, Crew Members host games and activities in the Donald's Pool area as detailed in guests daily Personal Navigator.

The pool is catered for by the adjacent Flo's Café, a Quick Service eatery themed around the Disney Cars film. With a choice of several food stations (Tow-Mater's Grill, Luigi's Pizza and Fillmore's Favorites along with an ice cream station called Eye Scream Treats and a for fee smoothie bar called Frozone Treats) guests can grab a bite to eat and drink without having to leave the pool area.

The pool also features Funnel Vision - a state-of-the-art, 24 by 14 foot LED screen sitting by the forward funnel. Families can sit back, relax and watch classic Disney animated features or live-action movies whilst relaxing in the pool or on the surrounding sun loungers. Popular TV shows and major sporting and broadcast events are also screened throughout the day.

A further element of The Donald's Pool area is a stage where many daytime deck activities and night time deck parties take place, including the Adventures Away! Sail-Away Celebration gala and the Pirates In the Caribbean deck party. During these events, an automated floor slides out and seamlessly covers both Donald's Pool and Mickey's Pool, allowing Guests more deck space to enjoy the festivities.

Coast Guard personal flotation devices (PFDs), water wings and flotation sewn into bathing suits can be brought onboard and are permitted in Donald's Pool. However, floats, rafts and fun noodles cannot be brought onboard and are not permitted in the pools.

As a courtesy, complimentary pool vests are now available on the pool decks aboard all ships. These vests can only be worn by children in the swimming pools to help with flotation, and must not be taken ashore at ports of call, including Castaway Cay. Please note that pool vests are not a substitute for the lifejackets located in guest staterooms, nor are they a substitution for adult supervision.

Swimming pools on Disney Dream are heated when the water temperature drops below 75 degrees.

Due to US health regulations children who aren’t toilet trained are not permitted in any of the pools or hot tubs with the exception of the Nemo’s reef splash area where swim nappies/diapers must be worn at all times.
Mickey's Pool Slide (Water Slide)
Mickey's Pool Slide (Water Slide)
Suspended by a gigantic Mickey Mouse hand, the yellow slide at Mickey's Pool twists and turns from one deck above the pool at the start and splashing down right next to it at the end. A minimum height of 38 inches (3' 2") and a maximum height of 64 inches (5' 4") are required to use the slide.
Aquaduck (Water Slide)
Aquaduck (Water Slide)
AquaDuck is Disney Dream’s exciting "water coaster" located aft of deck 12. The elevated slide propels guests along 765 feet of acrylic tube on a thrilling journey which circles the entire upper pool deck.

Starting 150 feet above the ocean, the ride swings 12 feet out over the side of the ship and features two drops as is heads down 4 decks to its exit.

AquaDuck is designed for adults and children at least 42" or taller and single riders must be at least 54" or taller. Children under 7 must ride with someone 14 years of age or older, provided the child is at least 42" tall.

No snorkel equipment or swim goggles are allowed on the ride.
Mini Golf (Mini Golf/Putting)
Mini Golf (Mini Golf/Putting)
A whimsical, Disney-themed miniature golf course is located on Goofy’s Sports Deck aft of deck 13. Starring Goofy and his son Max, the course features 9 interactive holes emphasising various golfing lessons, with a delightful goofy twist.

Course highlights include:
"Stuck in the Rough" – Goofy shows golfers how to avoid the tall turf and steer clear of a lawn mower
"Handling a Dog Leg" – Golfers avoid a fire hydrant and use Pluto's dog bone to guide them to the hole
"Reading the Green" – Stacks of books and a large magnifying glass are obstacles to circumvent on this undulating green
"Attacking the Green" – Golfers take a pirate's approach to sinking the putt as they manoeuvre their ball through various pirate-like obstacles

The course also offers a Goofy and Max tee at each hole, offering twice the challenge and twice the fun. Quirky golf clubs, some crooked and bent, will challenge golfers to stay on course during competition and tournament play. Guests may even receive a surprise visit from Goofy or Max during a game to offer tips on club selection and stance.
