The Walt Disney Theatre, one of 2 large theatre spaces on the Disney Dream, is an enormous live performance setting that presents original Disney live shows, as well as first-run and digital 3-D movies. It is located at Deck 3 and 4, forward, with shows at 6.15pm and 8.30pm.

With orchestra seating on deck 3 and balcony seating on deck 4, the venue offers Broadway-style Disney live shows from enchanting original Disney musicals to family-friendly variety acts.

Inspired by the red carpet and golden trophies of Hollywood award shows, the theatre is decorated in rich red and golden hues with subtle Disney decorative touches.

The state-of-the-art theatre is able to support and enhance even the most complex Broadway-style shows and includes an approximately 40-foot-wide proscenium stage, full-flying capabilities for moveable backdrops and scenery, a projection system for animated scrims and stage lifts, and the capacity for pyrotechnics. Additionally, the theatre includes state-of-the-art lighting and a Dolby sound system.

To assist Guests with seating, Crew Members are available at the entrance to the Walt Disney Theatre 30 minutes prior to show times.

Designated wheelchair viewing is available in various locations in the theatre. Guests needing assistance with wheelchair viewing should contact a Crew Member outside the theatre entrance at least 10 minutes prior to show time.

Along with presenting original live entertainment, the Walt Disney Theatre hosts Disney movie premieres allowing Guests to enjoy a film's opening at the same time it's making its nationwide debut onshore.

In addition to live shows and movie premieres, the Walt Disney Theatre is equipped with the latest digital 3-D projectors offering the fun and excitement of both new and classic 3-D films along with in-theatre effects, adding a fourth dimension to guests Disney cruise movie experience.

Disney's Believe
With a spirited musical score, Believe is the story of Dr. Cornelius Greenaway, a brilliant botanist captivated with cultivating his precious plants who overlooks the birthday of his daughter, Sophia. Saddened, Sophia makes a special birthday wish... and the impossible happens: Genie from Disney's Aladdin appears to make her wish come true.

Villains Tonight!
Villains Tonight! is an hour long comedic revue-style live show starring some of Disney’s most beloved villains and tells the tale of Hades as he attempts to hold onto the title of “Lord of the Underworld.” After The Fates warn him that he may lose his position as supreme ruler because the Underworld is too happy a place, he gathers the most powerful Disney villains in an attempt to make the underground kingdom a bit more wicked.

With lively musical numbers such as a 1970s disco rendition of “Poor Unfortunate Souls” from The Little Mermaid and a dance club version of “Cruella De Vil”, villains include:

The Golden Mickeys
The Golden Mickeys runs for around 50 minutes and is based around an awards show in which Disney movie Characters are nominated in several categories, including heroism and romance. It features songs and Disney Characters from the following Disney films:

One Hundred and One Dalmatians

The Golden Mickeys also stars Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Goofy and features a special "appearance" by Roy Disney. As guests make their way into the theatre, celebrity interviewer Rona Rivers interviews boys and girls about such topics as friends, family and fashion which are all broadcast in real time via video camera onto screens within the Walt Disney Theatre for everyone to see.

Evolution, located aft of deck 4 in The District area on the Disney Dream, is a stylish dance club and the premier venue for adults only at night with a host of activities for guests to enjoy.

The design of Evolution is an artistic interpretation of the transformation of a butterfly — dynamic, unique and vibrant. With organic forms, colours and lighting, Evolution evokes a sense of emerging from a chrysalis. The pattern inspired by a monarch butterfly's wing embellishes the walls whilst swirling trails of light on the ceiling symbolize butterflies in flight.

During the day, Evolution provides dance classes, bingo, scavenger hunts and arts and crafts for the whole family to enjoy whilst at night it caters to adults only offering dancing, games, karaoke, themed parties, cabaret shows and comedy acts.

The Buena Vista Theatre is a lavish cinema located midship of decks 4 and 5 screening first-run films, some in stunning Disney Digital 3-D, and other popular motion pictures.

The opulent theatre features the latest in state-of-the-art projection and sound technology. It also boasts dual level stadium seating in which every seat in the theatre offers an exceptional view of the giant movie screen.

With plush décor reminiscent of the grand Art Deco styles of the 1920s and 1930s, show times occur throughout the day and designated wheelchair viewing is available.

Featuring Dolby Surround 7.1 and Dolby 3D which uses a unique full-spectrum colour technology for crisp, clear images providing a superior 3D experience, The Buena Vista Theatre also features some special surprises—adding a fourth dimension to guests Disney cruise movie-going experience.

Shutters, the ship's photographic shop, offers professional portraits, and is located midship of deck 3 in the Lobby Atrium, where guests can find pictures of themselves taken by the ships onboard photographers.

Guests can locate their own unique portfolio of pictures using their Key to the World Card. Holding the card up to one of the touch pads activates the screen telling them where their staterooms folio is in Shutters which is designed to resemble a library with different bookshelves, such as the Donald bookcase, displaying colour coded and numbered folders containing guests photos.

Shutters also offers a selection of photo packages, ranging from digital photos on a CD to prints for guest wishing to purchase their photos along with frames, accessories, film processing and CD writing services.

Additionally, guests can visit Shutters to arrange a professional family, couple or group portrait in a studio setting with a number of backdrops (tropical, formal, fanciful or romantic) to choose from.

Character Greetings

Character Greetings, where children and adults can meet and greet Disney Characters occur throughout Disney Dream, both in designated places and during special surprises appearances.

Characters including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Cinderella, Captain Hook and Peter Pan are available to say hello to, pose alongside for a picture and sign autographs.

Some destinations are designated as photos only and as such autographs are not allowed due to time constraints.

Available once per cruise, Disney Princesses, including Cinderella and Snow White make a scheduled appearance in the Lobby Atrium for autographs, pictures and hugs.

Available on all Disney cruises, a final farewell reception enables guests to share goodbye hugs and snap some last-minute pictures of favourite Disney Characters, Disney Cruise Crew Members and stars of the Disney Cruise Line Live Shows before their vacation draws to an end. The “Till We Meet Again Party” is a 30-minute deck party located on Decks 3 and 4 in the Lobby Atrium, Midship, that begins at approximately 10.00pm the night before Debarkation Day.
The District
The District
The District, aft of deck 4, is a section of the ship that caters to adults in the evening and is home to a variety of distinct lounges and nightclubs, including Evolution, District Lounge, 687, Pink and Skyline. All venues in The District intertwine, with each venue possessing its own totally unique look, sound and feel.

Just outside The District, in a secluded area of Deck 4, is an outdoor adults' only area that has a cosy, enveloping space made of curved wood for guests to relax in.

Light night snacks are available in The District from 10.45pm to 11.45pm and events ranging from Rum tasting or Tequila & Margarita Tasting Classes to 50’s movie quizzes provide entertainment for guests to enjoy.
