One of Dawn Princess' two main dining rooms, Florentine is open for traditional seating dinner with early seating at 5.45pm and late at 7.45pm (subject to change).

Located on the Plaza Deck, the menu in both restaurants offers the same dishes with just the d├ęcor of the two rooms varying.

The menu comprises of set options on one side including signature pasta dishes, salmon, chicken, beef and lotus spa healthy eating options whilst the other side changes and consists of appetisers, soups and salads, main courses and desserts.

The Venetian Dining Room, located on the Emerald Deck midship, is Dawn Princess' other main dining room, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Waiter served breakfast and lunch are both open seating with breakfast served from around 6.30 to 9am and offering a choice of continental and cooked options, whilst lunch is served on sea days from around 12 to 1.30pm.

Afternoon tea is also served in the Venetian Dining Room from 3.30 to 4.30pm again with waiter service offering finger sandwiches, cakes and pastries along with beverages.

Traditional seating dinner with a choice of either early seating (5.45pm) or late seating (7.45pm) offers a choice of a set menu of signature pasta dishes, Caesar salad, chicken, beef, salmon and lotus spa healthy eating options or a changing menu comprising of four courses of appetisers, soups and salads, main courses and desserts.

La Scala, located on the Dolphin Deck, midship, is open for lunch (from around 11am to 3pm) and dinner (6pm - 11pm).

It is Dawn Princess' Pizzeria with sit down waiter service and is complimentary.

La Scala's menu comprises of individual Naples style pizza's as well as focaccia, salads, a small selection of pasta dishes and choice of desserts such as tiramisu.

Sterling Steakhouse, located within the Horizon Court on the Lido Deck, is Dawn Princess' select additional charge restaurant (reservations recommended).

Open from 6.00pm to 10pm, guests can choose from a range of appetisers, soups and salads, seafood or steak and dessert.

The Balcony Grill, open from around 11am to 6pm, is situated outside the Horizon Court on the Lido Deck, and serves a range of burgers (including vegetarian), hot dogs, kebabs and meat pies along with fries.

Sundaes Ice Cream Bar serves free ice cream during the day along with popcorn whilst the movies under the stars are aired.

Also available are speciality coffees, smoothies and sweets for additional charge.

It is located on the Riviera Deck outside the children's centre.
The Patisserie on the Plaza Deck is the ship's coffee shop and offers a selection of speciality coffees at additional charge (coffee cards can be purchased for around $29 plus 15% gratuity for 15 drinks, with a choice of cappuccino, espresso, lattes or mochas, saving 20% on normal prices).

Also available is a range of pastries and desserts along with wines and spirits.

For passengers wishing to enjoy a romantic dining experience with breathtaking views from their own balcony, this special room service option is available for either breakfast (at $41 per couple) or dinner ($125 per couple). (Prices subject to changes and in Australian Dollars)

Breakfast includes speciality pastries, fresh fruits, quiche, smoked salmon and other special treats served with half a bottle of champagne.

For dinner, personal dedicated wait staff serve a special dining experience on guests' stateroom balconies.

Dinner begins with a hosted cocktail party with fresh flowers and champagne followed by a deluxe four-course meal of appetisers, salad, main course such as lobster tail or juicy steak, rounded off by dessert.

Passengers can make use of the complimentary room service ($3 charge for pizza delivery) at any time of the day or night. For continental breakfast (offering fruit juice, cereals, Danish pastries, croissants, egg, cheese and bacon breakfast muffin, hot beverages and fruit) guests can fill in the breakfast card and place it on their door at night.

With coffee, iced tea and milk available round the clock, food options range from sandwiches served with either fries, crisps or coleslaw, soups and salads, hot dishes such as lasagne and burgers, and sweets such as chocolate cake or cookies.

The Chef's Table experience provides the chance to tour the ship's busy galley during dinner service, where the ship's executive chef previews the evenings menu with a selection of hors d'oeuvres and Champagne for guests to enjoy.

Guests are then taken to a private table in the main dining room to enjoy a specially created multi-course menu accompanied by selected wines to complement each course.

During the dessert course the chef re-joins the table to discuss the evenings menu and share their culinary knowledge.

Available for up to 10 passengers per night (which may include mixed groups), the experience can be booked either through the ships DINE telephone line or at the dining reservations table set up on the first night of the cruise.

The experience costs $95 per person and includes a complimentary copy of Princess' cookery book and photo taken at the private table with the chef.

Menus tend to be formed around regional specialities from a recent port visited and an example of one such menu includes (amongst other dishes):-

The Horizon Court is Dawn Princess' buffet style casual eatery serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Located forward of the Lido Deck, both continental style and hot breakfast is served from around 6.30am to 11.30am, lunch from 11.30 to 3.30 offering a carvery, sandwiches, salads and desserts as well as other options, and bistro style dinner from 5.30pm to 11pm.

It also has its own bar, dance floor and stage for entertainment both during and after meals.
