Costa Serena

Centro Benessere Samsara (Samsara Spa) is the ship's 6,000 m2 two level spa and gym facility located on decks 11 and 12.

Located within Samsara Spa is a gym, UVA-ray solarium, rock sauna, steam clay bath, Thalassotherapy pool, tepidarium, aromatic thermal baths, relaxation area, deluxe house, and Venus beauty salon.

Treatments on offer include massages with either oils or volcanic rocks.

Thermal rooms include the dry heats of the Tepidarium (gently heated ceramic loungers), and the Thermal Bath (a warm water spa).

The Thalassotherapy pool is a warm mineral rich sea water pool with hydrotherapy water jets to relieve aches and pains.

Charges apply to all areas except for the gym and fitness classes such as aerobics (yoga and pilates classes are available at additional charges).

The relax area features large four poster beds to relax or meditate on whilst the deluxe house is a private treatment room with its own hot tub.

Passengers in Samsara Cabins and suites have free access to the thermal baths, Thalassotherapy pool and relaxation area along with two treatments, two fitness or meditation classes and two tanning sessions

The gym is open all day and is located on deck 11 of Samsara Spa.

It features a range of cardiovascular and weight training Technogym equipment along with a qualified trainer and an area for fitness classes ranging from aerobics (free of charge) to pilates (10 euros per class).

Under 16's are not permitted in the gym.

Costa Serena has a total of five Jacuzzi Hydro Massage Baths.

They are located by the ship's three main pools as follows:-

Lido Urano (2 jacuzzis) on deck 9
Lido Sole (2 jacuzzis) on deck 9
Lido Iris (1 jacuzzi) on deck 11.

Venus Beauty, located on deck 11, is the ship's unisex salon, offering a variety of services from manicures and pedicures to hair cuts and styling.
