Carnival Splendor

Cloud 9 Spa is the ship's 21,000 sq ft two level spa facility located over decks 11 and 12.

The upper level on deck 12 features mud and flotation rooms where passengers can experience the feeling of weightlessness in the dry float baths followed by a full body mud wrap.

Deck 12 also has two VIP suites with their own whirlpools and a relaxation room.

Deck 11 is home to the thermal suite comprising of four climate controlled rooms offering varying degress of dry heat and steam. The four rooms are as follows:-

Tepidarium (heated ceramic loungers)
Laconium (similar to a sauna but a gentler heat).
Oriental Steam Bath
Aroma Steam Bath.

Also on deck 11 is the Thalassotherapy pool (a large pool with massaging jets of mineral rich sea water), the Salon, Fitness suite and aerobics studio.

The Fitness Suite is located on deck 11 in Cloud 9 Spa and offers a range of treadmills, cardio vascular and weight machines along with a separate aerobics room for fitness classes.

For some classes such as Pilates and Yoga, charges apply of $12 per session.

Minors (age 12 to 16) can use the fitness facilities when accompanied by an adult.

The Splendor has a number of whirlpools on it. They can be found as follows:-

Two in the VIP suites within Cloud 9 Spa on deck 12.

One either side of the Liner Aft pool on deck 9.

One by the Thunderball pool on deck 11.

Two on deck 10 either side of the Carnival Seaside theatre, covered by the retractable sky dome roof, with ocean views.

The Salon can be found within Cloud 9 Spa on deck 11.

Unisex salon offering a range of services from cut and colour to shaves, manicures and pedicures.

Within the Cloud 9 Spa on deck 11 there are two single sex saunas.

Serenity (located on deck 12) is the ship's adult only (over 21's) retreat with comfortable padded loungers, chairs, soft music and small bar.
