Carnival Magic

Southern Lights is one of two split level main dining rooms on the ship with seating for 1,248 and located on decks 3 and 4 with windows on three sides.

Open seating breakfast and lunch is available here.

Dining is assigned seating of either 6pm or 8.15pm.

Northern Lights is one of two split level main dining rooms on the ship with seating for 948 and located on decks 3 and 4.

There's a choice of assigned dining with either 6pm or 8.15pm seating or "Your Time Dining" which is anytime from 5.45 to 9.30pm.

The Lido Marketplace is located on deck 10 and is the ship's casual international restaurant with a capacity of 826.

Continental and Lido Buffet breakfast is available here (serving eggs, sausages etc.)

For lunch the restaurant comprises of a number of food stations such as Taste Of Nations (a different international cuisine each day) Tandoor, Burrito bar, Mongolian Wok, Pasta Bar (within Cucina Del Capitan on deck 11), Off the Grill, New York style Deli, Pizzeria, Dessert Station and Ice Cream station (which is open 24 hours a day along with the pizzeria and coffee and tea stations).

For dinner the Lido Marketplace serves a buffet style meal.

The Pizza Pirate is located on deck 10 within the Lido Marketplace casual restaurant near the beach pool and is open 24 hours a day.

Cucina Del Capitano is located on deck 11 above the Lido Marketplace restaurant with a capacity of 117.

At lunchtime Cucina Del Capitano is a casual made to order complimentary pasta bar. Passengers select what type of pasta, sauce, toppings and extras they require which is then prepared and brought to their table.

At night the restaurant is reservation only with a cover charge of $10 per adult and $5 per child and serves a variety of made to order Italian family favourites.

The Mongolian Wok is located within the Lido Marketplace on deck 10 at the Beach pool end and serves wok prepared freshly cooked stir fried ingredients of your choice.

Tandoor is located within the Lido Marketplace restaurant near the Tides pool serving a range of Indian cuisine from chicken and fish to beef kebabs and naan bread.

The ship's alternative reservation only restaurant located on deck 5 at the back of the Spotlight Lounge with a capacity of 69.

The Prime Steakhouse specialises in prime beef cooked to your specification, or a selection of seafood if you prefer.

The menu includes entrees, appetisers and desserts and an extensive wine list is also available.

Reservation times are between 5.30pm and 9.30pm.

A Cover charge of $30 per person applies.

The Sushi Bar is located on deck 5 along the Upper Magical Way promenade outside the Vibe Dance Club.

It serves a selection of complimentary sushi dishes prior to dinner each evening.

During the day the area is used as a salad bar.

The Taste Bar serves a new and different complimentary appetiser each day in different restaurants (as listed in the Funtimes daily newsletter) providing guests with a sample of the flavours on offer at dining venues across ship.

For guests wanting a filling late breakfast/ early lunch to enjoy whilst being entertained, the Punchliner Comedy Brunch offers a wide range of choices from tomato soup, salmon and cream cheese bagels, fruit, eggs cooked to order, bacon, chicken quesadilla, pancakes and pasta to ice cream and slices of cheesecake.

The Chefs Table is held in a variety of unusual locations such as the library.

The chef's table is a multi course dinner prepared by one of the ship's master chefs.

Available for groups of twelve, beginning with a champagne reception followed by a visit to the ship's Galley to see it in operation before a full service dinner of appetisers, entrees and desserts.

A charge of $75 per head applies and the experience is bookable through the Prime Steakhouse reservations.

Plaza Bites is located on deck 5 near the RedFrog Pub, Casino and Fun Hub in the Ocean Plaza.

Continental breakfast is available along with snacks and salad and sandwiches for lunch.

Oceanside Barbeque is located on deck 5 on the promenade near the Red Frog Pub.

It serves a range of freshly cooked burgers, soft tacos with choice of fillings, hotdogs, chicken and steak with a selection of salad.

The New York style deli is located within the Lido Marketplace on deck 10 and serves a selection of sandwiches and side orders.

The RedFrog Pub is located on deck 5 with a capacity of 120, and serves a selection of Caribbean style appetisers from Coconut Shrimp to Jamaican wings.

Each appetiser costs $3.33.

The Grille is located within the Lido Marketplace on deck 10 near to the beach pool and serves a selection of chicken, burgers, hot dogs, and salad.

Plaza Cafe is a patisserie serving speciality coffees and sweets (extra cost). It is located on deck 5 within the Ocean Plaza.
