Brilliance’s gym (located within the Vitality at Sea facilities on decks 11 and 12) has a range of machines from treadmills and stair-climbers to stationary bikes and resistance machines with floor to ceiling windows offering relaxing sea views. A selection of free weights can also be found in the gym along with a large aerobic area for classes ranging from complimentary morning workouts (e.g. abdominal classes and walk-a mile sessions) to for fee classes such as Pilates and yoga ($12 a class).

Guests will find the adult only (over 16’s) Solarium located on deck 11. Designed to resemble an African watering hole, with three 16-foot-tall stone elephants and cascading waterfalls, it’s the perfect place for a refreshing swim in the heated pool or relax in the whirlpool.

Protected from inclement weather with a retractable glass, the pool is surrounded by comfortable padded loungers to relax on and enjoy a drink from the adjacent Solarium Bar. Guests can also enjoy a snack from the Park Cafe which also serves the Solarium area.

The pool has a maximum depth of 1.74m (5ft 8”) and whilst the solarium is for over 16’s only, during inclement weather a number of family swim sessions may take place in the pool.

Brilliance of the Seas has three whirlpools on board, one serving the covered Solarium and two serving the ships outdoor pool, all located on deck 11.

The Vitality at Sea Spa and Fitness Centre is situated forward of decks 11 and 12 offering the latest exercise equipment along with a full-service spa, beauty salon and spa treatments, including massage, manicures and seaweed body wraps.

The Day Spa is on the upper deck (12) and offers relaxing massages, facials, pedicures and manicures. Treatments on offer range from Microdermabrasion Oxygen Lifting Facials ($169), La Therapie Hydralift Facials and Elemis Aromapure Facials to GoSMILE Tooth Whitening Treatment (for $199), Elemis Aroma Stone Therapy, Swedish Massages, Reflexology, Body Wraps, Cellulite Reduction and Acupuncture.

Prices for an aroma spa ocean wrap massage are around $195, $159 for aroma stone therapy, $300 for Botox and $150 for an acupuncture session.

The Beauty Salon on deck 11 offers guests hair styling services, facials, manicures and pedicures along with other beauty treatments. It also has barber services for men.

The ships Thermal Suite on deck 11 within the spa costs around $120 for a cruise long pass or $20 for a daily pass, with a limited number of passes available.

The suite includes five tiled heated ceramic chairs, tropical rain forest showers and a unisex aromatherapy steam chamber and sauna.

A complimentary single sex sauna is located within the changing rooms in the spa on deck 11.
