Frontiers, aft of deck 16 and the location for 5-8 year olds, is designed to encourage imaginative play, with lots fun and games and a selection of activities to entertain children, such as Playstations, arts and crafts, sport challenges and quizzes. Featuring playful and colourful décor, the room also has skipping ropes and 3-legged races to keep the children active.

The Beach Hut caters for the ships 2-4 year olds, with everything from singing, colouring and drawing to paddling pools, books, games, toys and soft play areas packed with large balls and cubes. Outdoor activities are also available in the secure outdoor play areas with access to climbing frames, rockers, bobble boards to walk on, climbing ropes to clamber up and tricycle and little cars to get about on.

The Hub, port side of deck 16 aft, provides 9-12 year olds with a Jukebox where they can choose their own music, computers, Playstation and a video area showing a wide range of family films. Activities in offer include game shows such as 'Who's Bluffing’, as well as treasure trails, karaoke events and well-supervised pool games.

The Children’s Clubs on board the ship, run by a qualified and CRB checked Youth Crew, are collectively known as The Reef and are divided into Splashers (2 to 4 year olds), Surfers (5 to 8 year olds), Scubas (9 to 12 year olds) and H2O (13 to 17 year olds).

Meals are not provided in the children’s clubs although snacks are provided so parents will need to ensure that they collect their children to take them for all their meals.

Children are not required to be toilet or potty trained to utilise the children’s club facilities and staff onboard can change nappies if parents give them their consent to do so.

Aft of deck 16 outside the Beach Hut and Frontiers is a small kid’s paddling pool.

The Sea Bed is the designated area for toddlers use when accompanied by their parents who must remain with them at all times. During the day they can explore the sea-themed soft play area whilst in the evening the area transforms into the night nursery, where qualified staff watch over the children allowing parents to enjoy a grown-up night out.

Baby milk and food as well as bottle warming facilities, baby baths, potties, bottle and sterilisers are also available on board.

Apartment 16 ,aft of deck 16 starboard, is the 13-17 year olds designated place to hang out, chat, listen to music, watch films and meet new friends. It features a specially designed games room with a selection of games consoles, large plasma screens and all the latest games along with air hockey, volleyball, football and much more.

During school holidays specialist sports coaching is also available as well as other skills to be learnt from learning to play the guitar to forming a rock band and DJing.

Game On, situated on deck 16 outside Apartment 16, is the ships' additional charge video arcade featuring all the latest technology along with large plasma television screens and game consoles.

In the evening the Sea Bed aft of deck 16 transforms into a complimentary Night Nursery available for children aged between 6 months and 5 years of age and opens from 6.00pm until 2.00am each night with allocation on a first come first serve basis.

The latest a child may be checked in is just before 11pm and parents will be provided with pagers in case they are required to return to the nursery at any point.
