Toybox is located aft of deck 8 and caters for children from 6 months to 4 year olds (Splashers). It is open from around 9.00am to 10.30pm. It features a ball pool, arts and crafts tables, home corner, reading corner, entertainment systems and an outdoor play area. Children under the age of two must be accompanied by a parent at all times and all children must be signed in and out of the club by their parents/carers.

From 6pm the room transforms into the ship's night nursery and activities for the two to four year olds relocates to Quarterdeck.

The complimentary Night Nursery, aft of deck 8 and part of Toybox, is available for children aged between 6 months and 5 years of age and opens from 6.00pm until 2.00am each night with allocation on a first come first serve basis.

With 8 beds and 6 cots, the latest a child may be checked in is just before 11pm and parents will be provided with pagers in case they are required to return to the nursery at any point.

Quarter Deck (Kids Club)
Quarter Deck, located starboard aft of deck 8 and open every day from 10.00am, caters for 9 to 12 year olds (Scubas). Equipped with TV’s, DVD players, Videos, Karaoke Machines, Jukeboxes and PlayStations to keep children entertained, board games, cards and books are also provided.

Activities on offer range from sports, swimming, arts and crafts and movies to scavenger hunts and game shows.

Jumping Jacks, aft of deck 8 is the children’s club for 5 to 8 year olds (Surfers). It is equipped with a multi-level ball pool and soft play area, arts and crafts tables, entertainment system, reading corner, PC and PlayStations and an outdoor play area.

Jumping Jacks is open every day from 9.00am to 10.30pm and children must be signed in and out of the facilities by parents/carers at all times.

Aft of deck 8 just outside the Kid's Clubs and by the Terrace Pool, is a children’s paddling pool with little rainbow slide and surrounding gates so the little children can't wander into the adjacent Terrace Pool.

Intergalactica is a video arcade located outside Decibels on deck 8, with a selection of games from dance challengers to shooting games. Fees apply.

A covered outdoor play area, accessed from the Kid's Clubs on deck 8, has a selection of outdoor toys and climbing equipment.

Decibels, aft of deck 8, starboard and with its own dance floor and soft drinks bar is the dedicated area for 13 to 17 year olds (H2O). Open from 10.00am each day, activities and equipment are similar to those on offer in Quarter Deck but tailored towards the older age group.

Slumber time, for 5 to 8 year olds is an extended video time run in Jumping Jacks from 10.30pm until Midnight serving as an alternative to Night Nursery and children attending need to be signed over from jumping jacks to slumber time between 10.00pm and 10.30pm.

Slumber time only runs on advertised family choice cruises and when there is sufficient demand for it.

Aurora’s cabins are equipped with baby listening facilities for use by parents. (Please note it is not monitored by the ship's personnel and is the parent’s sole responsibility).
The Reef
The Reef
The Children’s Clubs on board the ship, run by a qualified and CRB checked Youth Crew, are collectively known as The Reef and are divided into Splashers (2 to 4 year olds), Surfers (5 to 8 year olds), Scubas (9 to 12 year olds) and H2O (13 to 17 year olds).

Meals are not provided in the Children’s Clubs although snacks are provided so parents will need to ensure that they collect their children to take them for all their meals.

Children are not required to be toilet or potty trained to utilise the Children’s Club facilities and staff onboard can change nappies if parents give them their consent to do so.

Children cannot be left in the clubs whilst their parents are ashore and must be taken with them.
