The Amber Theatre seats 2160 guests over 3 decks and is Allure’s state of the art theatre home to its production shows including Blue Planet and Chicago: The Musical, along with 3D movies for all to enjoy.

Blue Planet features music, dance and aerial acrobatics and explores the wonders of the world creating an all-encompassing environment to mesmerize guests.

Introducing the Tony Award winning musical, Chicago, to the sea, guests on Allure can enjoy the show which is set in Chicago’s tough-talking, Prohibition-era. Allure’s production brings to the stage the hottest and most high-energy numbers on the playbill.

Further productions (Allure features four different shows each performed several times throughout each sailing) include the Headliner Show featuring world class singers, musicians, magic and juggling acts, and the Beatle Maniacs. The Beatle Maniacs fetches the sounds of the “fab four” to life in a stage show spanning the music and history of the Beatles from their break through onto the music scene with music and dialogue and quotes from press conferences and hit movies incorporated into the show.

Other activities held in the theatre include the Love and Marriage Game Show and Bingo.

Located on deck 4, Blaze, with its entrance doors ‘burning’ with hot flames and a ‘charred’ threshold, is the ships lively nightclub aimed at the younger cliental on board (with Dazzles being the dance club for the slightly older generation). Red leather chairs and benches with high backs adorn the club served by a large oval shaped bar.

With a small dance floor and capacity of 193, guests must be at least 18 years old to get in. As Blaze is designed towards younger people, the venue hosts some activities reserved for 18-20 year-olds, including meet and greets or parties with various DJs.

With a resident DJ from 10.30pm to late, other events held here include a Black and White Party.

The ships' large casino accessed via The Hall of Odds and the Museum of Gaming walkways which immerses passengers in the experience of gambling and a casino even before they arrive, is located on deck 4 and served by its own bar. With 480 slot machines to choose from, starting from 1 cent per line, tables range from Blackjack, Craps and Roulette to Caribbean Stud Poker. Guests using the casino can either pay cash or use their Sea Pass card to play games and smoking is permitted on one side of the casino.

Guests new to casinos can attend special introductory events which teach them all about the games on offer whilst the more experienced gamer can take part in tournaments such as the Sit & Go Texas Hold’Em tournament ($100 entry fee).

Located on deck 15 outside the teenager’s area and near to the Sports Pool, the SeaTrek Dive Shop sells a selection of equipment from snorkels and masks to wet suits. It is also the place to visit for guests wishing to take place in a scuba diving course. For $249, guests can get a PADI Scuba Diver Certification which is acknowledged worldwide. The pre-entry level certification allows guests to dive to 40 feet after certification under the supervision and guidance of a dive professional. Diving practice takes place in the deep AquaTheatre pool aft of deck 4.

Allure has its own Britto Art Gallery on board the ship located in Central Park, Deck 8. Romero Britto is a Brazilian artist whose work includes commissions for Pepsi, Bentley, Audi and Absolut Vodka as well as Royal Caribbean. Featuring bright colourful and playful themes with elements of Cubism, in addition to some of his original works of art, souvenirs, luggage, sculptures, kitchenware and children’s books are also on sale in the gallery. Art souvenirs and collectables start at $20.00.

Featuring a replica of a 1936 Mercedes Benz 540K and giant blue copper globe located above the English style pub which opens out into a cantilevered bridge stretching out across the promenade for performers to appear on during events such as street parties, the Royal Promenade on deck 5 is home to an array of shops, bars and places to eat as well as entertainment areas.

The lighting in the area changes throughout the day creating different ambiances and the parades bring the area alive. The DreamWorks parade includes more than 70 performers with some of DreamWorks most popular characters from “Shrek”, “Kung Fu Panda”, Madagascar” and “How to Train Your Dragon” taking centre stage.

The Disco Inferno Street Party also takes place down the lengths of the Royal Promenade, across the Captain’s Bridge and up on the Rising Tide Bar and the mezzanine as guests dance to the music of the 70’s in the disco-themed street party.

Studio B is Allure’s Ice skating rink which also hosts Ice Skating shows and audience participation game shows.

“How to Train Your Dragon” is one of the Ice Skating shows where guests can join Hiccup the Viking boy, Toothless the Dragon and the whole Viking village from the DreamWorks motion picture production in an adventurous tale told by Prune Hilda, a character created exclusively for the ice show.
“Ice Games” brings the classic board game of Monopoly to life in an ice adventure created for Allure of the Seas. Elaborate costumes, backdrops, video and lighting create a fantasy game world to delight guests of all ages.

Other activities include the 60 Seconds or less game show where contestants complete a physical challenge using ordinary household items and the Battle of the Sexes audience participation game.

Comedy Live is Allure’s adult only stand up comedy club located along Entertainment Place forward of deck 4. Reservations are required for some shows (as detailed in Cruise Compass daily activity sheets) whilst some operate on a first come first serve basis. Reservations can be made through guests stateroom interactive TV’s or via the Box Office on the Royal Promenade deck.

The club, with decor inspired by the London Underground, features nightly performances by stand-up comics with two comedians taking to the stage each night during one hour long shows performed two to three times nightly.
Dazzles

A party band regularly plays at Dazzles, a Deck 8 dance club venue situated between the Boardwalk (Deck 6) and Central Park (Deck 8) and aimed towards the slightly older guests. Spanning three decks and accommodating 222 passengers, it overlooks the Boardwalk from a two-level-high window and features white and purple armchairs throughout the club, which makes the place a comfortable venue to sit and listen to a live band.

A host of entertainment takes place in Dazzles from pre-dinner dancing and ballroom dancing to big band music, Rock ‘n’ roll dance parties, 80’s theme nights and the Majority Rules game show.

During the day, Dazzles is open for guests to take in the view of the bustling activity on the Boardwalk over a drink or learn a new dance move with a professional dance instructor.
Aquatheatre

Situated outside of Entertainment Place at the end of the Boardwalk is the 735 seat outdoor Aquatheatre. Its centrepiece is a pool that incorporates risers that can change the pools depth from 18 feet to the level of the surrounding deck via three advanced stage machinery devices enabling performers to do shows that include high diving (from 3m and 10m high platforms), synchronized swimming, water ballet, dramatic acrobatics and trampoline performances.

Two shows are performed in the Aquatheatre (which is also used as an outdoor cinema airing films and music concerts on the twin jumbo LED screens) with deckchair style seating located aft of decks 5 and 6 in an amphitheatre style layout.

“OceanAria” is a show set in an ancient underwater civilization. The signature aquatic production blends high dive thrills with dramatic aerial choreography. A display of fountains brings a changing backdrop of movement and colour to the show whilst the orchestral soundtrack provides voice and harmony to the ocean adventure.

“Let You Entertain Me” is an aquatic performance featuring the characters of DreamWorks Animation’s feature film “Madagascar”. Alex the Lion, Gloria the Hippo and Mort the mouse lemur, along with Royal Caribbean’s Aqua Cast, entertain guests with singing, dancing, diving and acrobatics in hope of being King Julian’s chosen hero to help get the water back to the jungles of Madagascar and save the day.

Entertainment Place forward of deck 4 is the contemporary nightclub district featuring after-dark spaces in intimate venues offering a variety of entertainment each night. The neighbourhood includes the Amber Theatre, Jazz on 4, Comedy Live and Blaze and Casino Royale accessed through the Hall of Odds.
Boardwalk

The Boardwalk neighbourhood (deck 6) was inspired by the seaside piers along the coast of England and the nostalgic American boardwalks of yesteryear such as Coney Island. An area for all the family to enjoy together, the centre piece is a colourful carousel with casual eateries (including Hamburger, Hot Dogs, doughnut and ice cream outlets) and retail shops either side.

The carousel lies at the forward end of the Boardwalk and is preceded by a number of carousel horses in various stages of completion from half carved blocks of wood to partially painted horses. The carousel itself is handcrafted from wood featuring 18 figures suspended from stainless steel poles showcasing a time honoured menagerie of animals such as zebras, giraffes and lions alongside a variety of hand-painted horses including a princess horse and a crowned frog prince. It is free to use and all riders must be at least 42 inches tall to ride alone. Those under this height need to be supervised by an adult (18 or over) stood next to child to hold them on the ride. Two riders are not permitted on one animal.

The Boardwalk is also host to a range of kid’s activities during certain days such as learning circus skills.
Central Park

Central Park (deck 8) is home to some of the ship's top speciality restaurants, Vintages Wine Bar, the Coach Store and Britto Art Gallery and Shop. With over 12000 living plants the area has a unique feel with sculptures including flying birds made out of Murano glass.

The tranquil and tropical landscaped park features towering Cuban laurels, Black Olives, clusters of calla lilies and rabbit foot ferns with the park’s collection of plants being a mix of coastal and highland sub-tropical species from around the world. A series of columns interlaced with vines are situated at the entry point to Central Park.

Within Central Park are a series of garden spaces which include The Pergola Garden featuring tendrils of flowering bleeding heart entwined through the overhead trellis. The Sculpture Garden integrates artwork from international artists and unique planting whilst sweet olive trees frame a pleasant area to sit and enjoy a view of the park. The middle pathway guides visitors over a bridge spanning a river of plants past the special gardens, restaurants and cafes as well as boutique shops and onto the central square.
