About Sept-Iles
Sept-Îles is a city in the Côte-Nord region of eastern Quebec, Canada.

Walking tours are available of the old port or ake a boat tour around the Bay of Sept-Îles.

Visit Grande Basque Island from the marina and follow the numerous walking/hiking trails. There are also six beautiful beaches here. La Perdrix and La Mouette observation points offer two of the best views of Sept-Îles.

The Musee Regional de la Cote-Nord has a collection of over 40,000 objects offering a rich and diversified reflection of the Innu and euro-québécois cultural heritage.

Other activities include horse riding, golf and bike trails.

There are many recreational and park areas to enjoy here including Jardin communautaire Ruisseau Bois-Joli and Jardins de l’Anse.

Endless beaches and breathtaking landscapes can be found close to the downtown area. East of the city lie the beaches of Monaghan, Ferguson, Routhier and Lévesque.

Dining options include fresh seafood and fish as well as a good range of international options such as Italian, French, Chinese and local dishes.

Quebec is most famous for its tourtières (meat pies), pâté chinois, pea soup, cretons, ham dishes, maple desserts such as Grand-Pères and sweet treat "tire Ste-Catherine" (St Catherine's taffy).

Cruise ships dock at the Sept Iles Cruise Terminal, approximately half a mile from the centre of town.
