Overview Of The Port Of Palau

About Palau
Palau is a municipality in the Province of Olbia-Tempio on the island of Sardinia (Italy), the second largest island in the Mediterranean.

To the east of Palau port, the Bear's Rock is a huge 122m granite rock, shaped over the years to resemble a bear.

Other popular nearby attractions include Palazzo Fresi, Church of Madonna delle Grazie, the archaeological site of the Giants Tombs and the many beaches in the area including ones at Sciumara, Punta Sardegna and Punta Nera.

Take a ferry to discover the island of La Maddalena.

Snorkelling, boat trips and walking are all popular pastimes.

The town has many shops selling souvenirs and crafts, with many bars and restaurants with outside tables, ideal for people watching.

Local dishes include grilled fish, lamb, pork and savoury cheeses, accompanied by bread. Desserts are made of cheese, almonds and honey.
