Overview Of The Port Of Nawiliwili

About Nawiliwili
Nawiliwili is a port on the south-east coast of the island of Kauai in the Hawaiian Islands, in the Pacific Ocean.

Take a helicopter sightseeing tour of Mount Waialeale, the Alakai Swamp, Waimea Canyon and the Na Pali Coast.

Kayaking, surfing and snorkelling are popular pursuits on the island.

Rent a car and explore the island, it's the only way to get to some of the remote and scenic sites.

Waimea Canyon is a large canyon, approximately 16 km long and up to 3,000 feet deep. The canyon was formed by a deep incision of the Waimea River arising from extreme rainfall on the island's central peak, Mount Waiʻaleʻale, which is among the wettest places on earth.

The nearest shops are at Kalapaki Beach about 0.5 miles from the dock. There are 2 smaller shopping centres here selling lots of souvenirs and gifts. The Kauai Marriott nearby also has some stores.

On the island, there is a good range of cuisines, ranging from traditional dishes to international and fresh fish and seafood.
Cruise Terminal
Cruise ships dock at Nawiliwili Harbour. Note: the harbour entrance is narrow, if there are high winds or a large swell, ships may not be able to enter it.
