Overview Of The Port Of Livorno

About Livorno
Livorno is the main port of the Tuscany region of Italy. Its presence on cruise itineraries is mainly as a port to visit the cities of Pisa and Florence.

Florence takes about an hour and 15 minutes to drive from Livorno.

Florence is a small city, and it's possible to find your way round with a map.

Many sights await the visitor to Florence notably the statue of Michaelangelo's David, the Duomo (Cathedral) and Ponte Vecchio, the most famous bridge in Florence lined with many tourist and jewellery shops.

Pisa, with it's famous leaning tower is also an option. Both Pisa and Florence are accessible by train from Livorno.

There are plenty opportunities to sample the delights of Italian cuisine in the many cafes and restaurants.
Cruise Terminal
The Cruise Terminal is at Calata Punto Franco, which is around half a mile from the City Centre. Most cruise lines offer shuttle buses (sometimes chargeable) and taxis are readily available at the dock.
