Comodoro Rivadavia is in southern Argentina, South America, located on the San Jorge Gulf, an inlet of the Atlantic Ocean.

The downtown area is where you can find whatever you need, the main street is San Martin Street, where you can find most of the shops.

The Windmill Farm is the only one of its kind in South America. A trip to the top of the hill provides excellent views over the city.

Other attractions include a visit to the Oil Museum and Museo Regional Patagónico, sport fishing and the beaches of Villa Rada Tilly.

Most regions of Argentina are known for their beef-oriented diet. Grilled meat from the asado (barbecue) is a staple, with steak and beef ribs especially common. Chorizo (pork sausage), morcilla (blood sausage), chinchulines (chitterlings), mollejas (sweetbread), and other parts of the animal are enjoyed.

Breaded and fried meats (milanesas) are used as snacks, in sandwiches, or eaten warm with mashed potatoes. Vegetables and salads are also eaten as well as pizza and pasta.
