About Capri
Capri is an island in the Tyrrhenian Sea, on the south side of the Gulf of Naples in the Campania region of Italy. The main town Capri on the island shares the same name.

Piazza Umberto I is the main square with cafes, shops, cathedral and clock tower.

The Blue Grotto is a popular natural attraction for visitors to the island.

Walking and hiking maps are available from the Tourist Information Offices in town.

The beaches here are comprised of tiny bays of pebbles and little platforms, there are no long stretches of golden sand here. The nearest beach is at Marina Grande, next to the harbour.

Capri trousers, handmade leather sandals, perfumes and jewellery are widely available.

Ravioli alla Caprese is a popular local dish as is Limoncello, the lemon liquer.
Cruise Terminal
Ships anchor and tender passengers to the busy port of Marina Grande. Capri town is uphill and taxis and buses are available at or near the pier. A fun way to access the town is by Funicular, it only around a 5 minute journey.

There is a selection of cafes and small souvenir shops at the pier.
