Overview Of The Port Of Cannes

About Cannes
Cannes is located in the French Riviera, in southern France.

The sights of Cannes are easy to see, the Boulevard de la Croisette is a two-mile strip with grand hotels, sandy beaches (attached to the hotels so a charge is applicable) and stores such as Cartier, Fendi, Jean-Paul Gaultier and Vuitton.

Le Suquet, is the town's historic centre. Sights include St Anne's chapel, the Castre Museum and the church of Notre-Dame d'Esperance, built in the 17th century. Fantastic views are experienced from here.

Shoppers can browse the luxury boutiques and art galleries or sample some delicious pastries in the many bakeries and cafes.

The Cannes Film Festival is usually held in May.

Traditional dishes include bouillabaisse, ratatouille and aioli. There are also many fish options available.
Cruise Terminal
Most larger cruise ships anchor just of the Old Port and tender passengers ashore. However, smaller ships may be able to dock. Cannes is very walkable and compact.

The bus station is left outside the terminal, just passed the market square, the train station is a 5 minute walk in the opposite direction, located behind the Boulevard de la Croisette.
