About Buzios
Armação dos Búzios, often referred to as just Búzios, is a resort town and a municipality located in the state of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, South America.

Rua das Pedras is a charming cobblestone street, lined with restaurants and shops selling souvenirs, jewellery, handicrafts and artwork.

Orlat Bardot Boardwalk is a natural stone walkway which curves around the bay, it features a bronze statue of Brigette Bardot who used to holiday here.

There is a huge range of outdoor pursuits on offer including horse riding, surfing, kite surfing, tennis, golf and diving.

Surrounded by hills and mountains with exuberant vegetation, Búzios is a place where you can enjoy nature. Emerências Reserve has exotic plants and golden tamarin monkeys.

Rua das Pedras is a small pedestrian only street in the centre of Buzios' commercial district, which has small gift shops, cafes and restaurants. Buzios is famous for producing fountain pens and Rio de Janeiro violin bows to a high level of craftsmanship.

There are over 20 beaches to choose from, including the popular Ferradurinha and Ferradura beaches.

Olho de Boi Beach is 50m of untouched beach, used by naturalists. Other places of direct contact with nature are Lagoinha and José Gonçalves Beach.

Cuisine ranges from French and Italian to Moroccan or Thai. Traditional dishes include rice and beans, cuscuz and fish stew.
