About Baddeck
Baddeck is a village in Victoria County, Nova Scotia, Canada. It is located on the northern shore of Bras d'Or Lake on Cape Breton Island.
There is lots to discover here including the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site of Canada, Highland Village Museum, Wagmatcook Culture and Heritage Centre and Bras d'Or Preservation National Trust.
There are also many tours and trips. See birds, puffins and seals on a Puffin boat tour or explore the Cabot Trail by kayak.
Choose one of two hiking trails to the Uisge Ban (ish-ka-ban) Falls, a 16m high waterfall. The Park here also has picnic facilities.

Around 7 miles west of Baddeck is Big Spruce Brewing, Nova Scotia's newest Microbrewery. Big Spruce Brewing is an 800 litre, certified organic, on-farm facility (various opening times, Mon-Sat). Their beers can be found all over Novia Scotia.
For golf fans, head to the Baddeck Forks and Bell Bay Golf Clubs.
Bras d'Or Yacht Club offer junior sailing lessons throughout the summer.
Sample the famous lobster boils, fresh fish and seafood dishes, chowders, vegetable dishes and even pizza in local restaurants.
