Andalsnes

Åndalsnes is a town in the municipality of Rauma in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway.

Many tourist attractions are a half or full days excursion.

Trollstigen is a National Tourist Road, and one of the most beautiful driving experiences in the country. Trollveggen mountain wall is the tallest, vertical rock face in Europe.

Every Saturday, the city has an open market that showcases a wide range of handicraft products and local food. There’s a farmers market in the city hall that offers fresh produce as well. Trolls are a popular souvenir.

Local restaurants serve fresh fish dishes as well as a variety of local and international cuisine such as Italian.

Cruise ships dock in the town centre, the port of Åndalsnes is situated by the beautiful Romsdalsfjord.

Toilets and telephones are available at the cruise terminal and the train station and a tourist information office is right across from the dock area. Taxis and buses can also be taken from the port.
